In all seriousness- Both in thier prime would go to Ali. I say this because history has already shown us the way. Look at the great Ali Vs Foreman upset. Foreman was the Tyson of his day... Bull strong, Angry @ the world and not lacking in technical ability in any way. Ali also trained for 15 round championship bouts Vs Tysons 12 round training regiment. Ali's defensive skills would keep him moving to the later rounds and he would take care of him late --- just the same way Forman lost- Tyson might not have gone down for the count but he would for sure have lost on points. Even though this is my opinion.... I still would love to see this fight...

Very easy question , Ali would have destroyed Tyson. Ali was taller had a longer reach and was about 5 times faster than Tyson. Ali had a great jab, which would have prevented Tyson from getting inside on Ali. Plus Ali had the greatest chin of all-time. Even if Tyson landed a left hook I believe Ali could have taken the shot. In short Ali would have given Iron Mike a boxing lesson.

Ali would do what Evander Holyfield did in the first Holyfield-Tyson bout. Ali would outbox and outmove Tyson. Tyson may have the power, but get Iron Mike into later rounds and he becomes rusty and easy to break.
For Tyson to beat Ali, he would have to try and counter Ali's rapid foot speed and speedy combinations inside. Ali has the power and speed that could easily outshine Mike's in-ring ability. Ali also has the stamina to go the distance in a boxing match, and just about every Tyson loss has been late round fights.

Ali, in his prime would have used his brains over Tyson's brawn. Look into the fight between Ali and Foreman. Foreman was the Mike Tyson of his era and Ali used the rope a dope tactic, wore him down and the KO'd in in the later rounds. Boxing is not only brute force but brains and technique at the same time.

Mike Tyson would win in his prime hands down.Mike has had TKO's by a punch to the stomach. Ali was good but Tyson was much stronger and aggresive than Ali ever was.Tyson would have just waited for the right spot and he would have broken Ali's jaw in one punch.Ali was the rope a dope expert which made for lousy viewing.

Ali vs Tyson dreamfight....
Tyson would come out like a hurricane swinging to land one on the jaw of the great Ali. Ali would circle the ring and punish Tyson with jab after jab while talking smack. Round 2 Tyson would be visible frustrated at the ever moving Ali and again try for the KO punch. Ali again would not allow himself to be cornered by such a tactic. Round 3 Would find tyson out of gas already from swinging and missing that Ali would blister him with a salvo that hasn't been seen since D-Day. Ali....TKO 3 round

Tyson would beat Ali if the tyson that was fighting ali was before he met Don King. Before Don King, tyson was a counter power puncher. He would react to the other boxer before swinging. Tyson threw less punches but was more accurate. After Don, tyson would throw more punches to try to get a KO. Ali would pick tyson apart if he fought like that.
So before king: tyson
after king: ali

Ali Boombayeah!!!
If Buster Douglas figured out a way to beat Tyson I am sure Ali could.
As far as Ali's ability to take Tyson's power punch...he took George Foreman's!

Ali no question Mike can punch but He could never take a punch to the jaw & the one thing Ali was, was a student of boxing, he would have studied Tyson and known that. One strong uppercut and it would have been all over!
