Join an amateur boxing club or gym. Just be careful its a tough sport.

Also instead of paying for expensive lessons or camps, why not buy a heavy bag and install it at home. That way you can learn on your own from textbooks or the internet.

Find yourself a boxing gym, I repeat, a boxing gym, and higher a trainer for a lesson. A lot of the trainers at the boxing gyms are either fighters themselves, or former fighters who can't, or dont want to leave the sport.

As for the cost, call whatever gym you choose and ask. The owner or manager of the gym shouldnt let anyone off the street just come in an say they are a trainer. Usually he/she regulates who works there & how much they charge.

Good luck & keep your hands up.
