Even though I'm a Spurs fan, I have a lot of respect for Steve Nash. I was surprised today to hear his postgame comments, where he essentially called out his teammates, saying that some poeple on the team weren't playing the best that they could. He didn't name names, and Peter Veschey (sp?) on NbaTv agreed with his comments. I don't know a lot about the Suns... is there discord among the players? What was he talking about?

Did you notice the look on Scott Skiles, looked like he was going to pull his hair out, if he had any.

I am trying to find a compete list of players/roster for the Warriors--for the late 80's and early 90's. I have the NBA encyclopedia, but I need it broken down by the team. Any sites?

Have you heard how Steve Nash is? That was one ugly bump he and Tony Parker had.

Why is it that tim duncan and the spurs are just so dang hate - able? i know he's one of the greatest probably to ever play but i hate him more than chronic coldsores. im not a suns fan so that has nothing to do with it, heck, im not even much of a bball fan. i just cant stand the guy. im pretty sure the only people that like him are spurs fans and thats it. guys like peyton manning, kobe, derek jeter: they're all on top of their game but people outside their immediate fan base like them. just why is tim duncan so unlikeable?

Which teams do you like to advance in round 2?

My own predictions?

New Jersey/ Detroit - I like the Nets. I think if Vince Carter can come close to matching Lebron James in points, that the Nets will win. Carter has better teammates then Lebron in Kidd and Jefferson, and I think that will be the difference.

Detroit/Chicago - The Pistons are a veteran team, and have to much experience for the young upstart Bulls to deal with.

San Antonio/Phoenix - Real tough call. The Spurs should win because of there terrific defense, but for some reason, I think the Suns will find away to win this series. It could go 7 games, but I like Phoenix.

Golden State/Utah - This one could go either way as well, but I'm picking the Jazz. I'm not sure the Warriors will have an answer for Boozer inside (Beidrens? I don't think so), and Deron Williams is capable of going toe to toe with Baron Davis. Homecourt also favors Utah.

Since Van Gundy is gone, what will they do next. Who will be their Head Coach? What players will they get and what players will they let go. What will their record be next year and will T-Mac get out of the first round next year?

Does anyone know of a source that rates the incoming recruiting classes for the Atlantic10? It would be interesting to know much like they just rated the NFL Draft performance by team A through F.

I found this interesting: Bryant, he writes, "could have been the heir apparent to MJ (Michael Jordan) and maybe won as many championships. He may still win a championship or two, but the boyist hero image has been replaced by that of a callous gun for hire."

Another comment by Phil Jackson: The feud between Kobe and Shaq threatened to tear the Lakers apart and Jackson reveals that, at one point, he looked for an L.A. school district psychologist who dealt with narcissistic children to help him counsel Kobe.

And just one more: He was highly critical of Kobe Bryant in the book, saying he wanted to trade the star player for his selfish attitude.

Three years ago, Kobe and Shaq decided they couldn't play with each other and went their separte ways. Everyone generally believes that Kobe kicked Shaq out of LA. My question is didn't Shaq want out as well? If I remember right, he wanted a contract extension that the Lakers were unwilling to give and disliked GM Mitch Kupchak as well. If this is true, isn't Shaq as much to blame for the Laker's current troubles as Kobe?

I myself don't think they will even make it. if they get past the nets they will without a doubt will lose to the bulls or pistons. They may get lucky and win the east but then they will lose to the west team in the finals. Am i right?
