With Dirk Nowitzki about to earn his first MVP, Steve Nash the runner-up-to-be this year (2 time reigning MVP), that is 3 straight years that American born players have been shut out of the MVP award. Combine that with the struggles of the American's at world competitions, It may be time to say USA is not the best basketball nation anymore. With more team oriented foreigners, USA basketball looks like a league full of prima donna walking billboards with nice shoes, full wallets, no heart, and zero grit. (I realize guys like Bosh, Wade, among a few others are exceptions). But A I, V C, Mello, (to name a few) have no team concept and are playing for contracts and fame. What are your guys' thoughts? And yes I am not an American, although I generally do like your country!!

I get alot of negativity although I'm a great player, people always criticize me and talk about my game, sometimes I feed of of that and I get discouraged.

I can have the greatest game but I always get something negative from someone.

I don't give a f*ck about Nash and how he makes the Suns better. If you put him on the Lakers vs Kobe on the Lakers Kobe's Lakers would do so much better. And btw people say that Nash passes way better then Kobe NO WAY. Kobe is actually a better passer the only thing is is that he has no one to pass to. Nash has all these athletic weapons that can shoot and jump to make him look good, and Kobe has a Laker squad that is completley injured and not that good to begin with. Kobe is the most skilled player to ever play period. Honestly you think Michael Jordan but that era is much more different then now. If you put Kobe and Michael side to side at Kobe's age right now how many championships has Kobe won? THREE!!!! And how many did Michael win? ONE!!!! Man all you Steve Nash purists don't know sh*t it's his teammates that make him better he couldn't do this with Kobe's Lakers. Kobe is wayyy better and not just athletically because athletically there is no comparison but in every aspect
too

The All NBA is has been announced with all 5 players coming from the west.

G - Steve Nash
G - Kobe Bryant
FC - Amare Stoudamire
FC - Tim Duncan
FC - Dirk Nowitzki

I doubt this "team" can win against the Pistons. I doubt this team can even beat the Bulls. So then how could they be the all NBA team?

Kobe isn't going to pass and Nash isn't going to pass to Kobe because then he, Nash, isn't going to get any assists. Amare hates all players in the Spurs. And Tim hates all in Dallas.

Shouldn't the All NBA team be a team that could work together and be undefeatable, kind of like what a "Dream Team" is supposed to be?

i think that the spurs will win over the suns in game 6, if they even reach that. sure, suns got nash. but if amare stoudameire cant keep up with tim duncan, they have to up their offense very much in order to come up with a win. they dont have much a chance if duncan is left open all the time... its true, u know it.
/////as for the cavs-- well, there isn't much there. pretty much they always depend on lebron. if they really up the defense (nets) on lebron the nets might win. if they use their star trio...jason kidd, richard jefferson, and vince carter; they could win. i dont know--but things aren't looking too good for them right now/// and for the jazz--golden state has proved themselves as a great team after beating the mavs, but the jazz are crushing them right now. maybe if they played like they did against the mavs they could come up with a win
///pistons--no question, pistons are going to win. theres nothing there anymore for the bulls...theyve lost their fire.

I defintely disagree with some of the selections.
I would have LeBron James on the first team, instead of Duncan.
And what's up with no Carlos Boozer on any of the three teams?
He's much more deserving then Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Garnett. Shouldn't TEAM success count for something? The guy put up terrific numbers, AND his team one. I guess the Jazz just didn't get on national TV enough.
Also, no Jason Kidd, and only one Piston player?
Even Stoudamire on the first team is questionable, and I really like him as a player.
There selections leave me scratching my head.

This series with Utah is far from being over (because the Warriors are such a strong home team), but if the Warriors do lose this series, will you still continue to watch the rest of the playoffs, and who would you be cheering for??
