I don't give a f*ck about Nash and how he makes the Suns better. If you put him on the Lakers vs Kobe on the Lakers Kobe's Lakers would do so much better. And btw people say that Nash passes way better then Kobe NO WAY. Kobe is actually a better passer the only thing is is that he has no one to pass to. Nash has all these athletic weapons that can shoot and jump to make him look good, and Kobe has a Laker squad that is completley injured and not that good to begin with. Kobe is the most skilled player to ever play period. Honestly you think Michael Jordan but that era is much more different then now. If you put Kobe and Michael side to side at Kobe's age right now how many championships has Kobe won? THREE!!!! And how many did Michael win? ONE!!!! Man all you Steve Nash purists don't know sh*t it's his teammates that make him better he couldn't do this with Kobe's Lakers. Kobe is wayyy better and not just athletically because athletically there is no comparison but in every aspect
too

Yes I live in L.A but I'm not some kid who just owns a Kobe jersey and is on his di*k. I seriously think that he is better then Steve Nash. And to all you clowns who say how did the Suns go from the bottom of the league to the top it was because they got rid of Marbury you idiots. Marbury never passed the ball (and still doesn't.) Do you get how that can upset the flow of a team. I aint' saying that Steve Nash is bad I am just sick of him getting the MVP year after year when he is stuck with the best offensive lineup in the league. Obviously if you have guys who can shoot and jump you will get a lot of assists. You Phoenix clowns are unbeliveable.

I agree with you 124% about the Steve Nash. His teammates actually make him better and not the other way around. I do think Nash is a better passer, and that he sees the floor better but Kobe is a better at everything else. As for the 3 championships versus one, Kobe did have Shaquille on his team but Kobe was equally as important in the success of Lakers as Shaq was. No one wants to give him that credit and I refuse to understand why. If the Kobe haters get passed their personal feelings and open their eyes to the game of basketball, they would realize that Kobe is the best player in the game and one of the best ever.

Put Darko Milicic together with Kobe at Darko's age, how many did Kobe win? 0. How many did Darko win? 1. How many conference finals did Kobe win? 0. And Darko? 2.

Sorry, Kobe was only riding on Shaq's coat-tail. Comparing Kobe's 3 rings is like saying Devean George is the best ever, Derek Fisher is the best ever, and Rick Fox is the best ever.

Big Shot Bob, Robert Horry, has more rings as a player than anybody. Maybe he is the best ever. How many rings does Jordan have?

I hope I have pointed out how stupid your reason are. And I bet you that Lakers would at least be the still be the defending champion had they traded Kobe for Jason Kidd and Shawn Marion with Phoenix back in the day. And would Nash make the Lakers better? Hell, yeah, remember the Suns were in the bottom of league before they got Nash. They were 29-53. Can Kobe make that team a 62-20 team the next very season? I don't think so. Can Kobe led them to the conference finals? Nope. The Lakers' roster are considerably better than the Suns' roster before Nash came. Two years ago, Amare was only like a 12 ppg player, and Shawn was a 6 ppg player. What are they now? Odom was a 18 ppg player, Brown was a 8 ppg player. Wow! What a change! So look into career history of your Lakers' roster, before you make a stupid statement like that, seriously.

The Suns sucked before Nash. 29-53! And that's the best offensive lineup in the league? It's not a wonder how Nash won the MVP. Amare went from a 12 ppg player to a 24 ppg player, and Shawn went from a 6 ppg player to an 18 ppg. Nash instantly made the team into a 62-20 team. The last time I checked, without Phil Jackson, Shaq, and Derek Fisher, Kobe failed to reach the playoffs. Kobe made Odom from an 18 ppg to a 13 ppg player, and Brown from a 8 ppg player to 6 ppg player. Wow! Kobe is the best ever!

ARE YOU SERIOUS????

First of all, Kobe is not even close to being as good a passer as Nash. And EVEN IF HE WAS, you can simply argue that he's a ball hog because if he did have such good passing abilities WHY THE HELL ISN'T HE USING THEM??

Kobe won his championships because of Shaq, not Kobe. Jordan was so much better, I can't believe I'm even having this discussion.

"athletically there is no comparison" hahaha. Nash is athletic, moron. Very close to Kobe, actually. Nash is a better shooter. Nash is a better passer. Nash is a better rebounder (if he was Kobe's height, he could average about six). Nash is a better team player. Nash is a better scorer, he just chooses to make his team better by passing.

Nash is miles above Kobe and simply because Kobe scores a lot he gets all the love. Look at the real basketball player, not the ball hog loser.

Ok You could argue Kobe is a better player than Nash all around. Thats one thing. But as for passing...are you kidding me? Seriously, youre being sarcastic, right? Nash is one of the best assist makers ever to play. Hes a wizard with the ball. He had 23 assists against the Lakers in the playoffs! 23! What are you talking about better passer? Let me guess...youre 15 years old? You live in or around LA and you own a Kobe jersey? You have no idea what youre talking about.

Get offa of Kobes piece please. Ya maybe he can drop a dime or two when hes getting triple teamed. You better be able to find the open guy in that case.

Kobe wont win 6 championships by the way. Hell be lucky to win another one. If he doesnt get another superstar like Shaq he def wont win one. Hes too selfish and has no leadership. The last guy to post is exactly right. Look at MJs teams when he got his rings. Longley-sucked. Harper-decent. Kukoc-did nothing after the Bullies. Kerr, Judd Bueshler, Randy Brown, Wennington-Hall of Famers. Rodman and Pippen were the only all stars he ever had, correct me if Im wrong.

Kobe aint no MJ, and he definitly cant pass with Nash.

First off all people on here need to get off of Kobe. There are some people on here that would suck his d*** if he asked. Honestly who cares if Michael had 1 championship win at Kobe's age and Kobe has 3. Kobe hasn't even won a NBA Finals MVP before. So compare that to Michael. Kobe will retire with 3 championships. Michael has 6. You will always think Kobe is the "most skilled player to ever play period." I think Michael Jordan is. You won't change my opinion or anyone else who thinks differently than you do and I can't change yours. So stop wasting your time trying to come up with your reasons of why you think Kobe is better. Everyone is going to have their own opinions and you making 1 statement will not change anyone's opinion. Get a life and get off of Kobe's d***. Steve Nash's teammates make him better? Yea right before he came back to the Suns we were struggling to make the playoffs. Ever since he came back we have been on top of the league. So get out of here with this bull$hit. By the way Kobe's Laker squad wasn't completely injured last year and blew a 3-1 series lead to my Suns. So stop making excuses!!!

I'm not saying Kobe isn't a great player. He is. It's just that you people on here think he's the second coming of God himself.

First off, Kobe couldn't hold Jordan's jock strap. Jordan has 6 championships and Kobe has 3 "with SHAQ O'NEAL". SHAQ has four championships(ha ha ha ha). Jordan never played with a talent like Shaq. Jordan is the best player ever and because you don't know that makes me think you are too young to have seen Jordan live or on TV. Jordan's stats speak for themselves, he has more accolades than Kobe could ever think about. Kobe hasn't even won a league MVP, Jordan has 6 league MVPs and a Defensive Player of the year award. Do you know how big that is to be the most dominant scorer ever and the most feared defensive player at the same time? Kobe will never even make the first or second team all defensive let alone a defensive player of the year award. Kobe will never win another championship, Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade replace Kobe with Shaq and we all saw the results, a Champioship!. And the Miami Heat was not the most talented team last year. Dr. Jerry Buss made a dumb mistake in trading Shaq, he should have retired a Laker, no doubt. I don't blame Kobe like most people do about the Shaq trade. It really was the Laker GM who was scared of Shaq and didn't get much respect from Shaq. KOBE COULD NEVER BE CONSIDER THE GREATEST, HE DOESN'T PLAY DEFENSE AS GOOD AS JORDAN, HE WON'T HAVE THE CAREER SCORING AVERAGE OF JORDAN, HE DOESN'T HAVE THE CHAMPIONSHIPS AND HE DOESN'T MAKE HIS TEAMMATES BETTER LIKE JORDAN DID. Jordan was never second fiddle or the second option on any professional teams!!!! Kobe was the second option on those Shaq Laker team. So how can you write something so crazy. It doesn't matter it Kobe had more championships at his age than Jordan did at the same age. Nobody since the Bill Russell Celtics has dominanted like the Jordanaire Bulls. Dude, are you crazy? Jordan has more championships of anyone that played in his era. More than Magic Johnson, Dr.J and Larry Bird. Kareem Jabbar is tied with Jordan with 6, but Kareem is connected to like two different eras, plus Kareem was injured for two of the Laker Championships and was second to Magic as of importance to the Laker reign. Jordan's Bulls were the closest thing to a sure bet ever. And Jordan never lost four games straight like Kobe and the Lakers did last year to the Suns. Kobe is nothing without Shaq. He looked real tired this year. And I will never forgive him for destroying Jordan's last all star game winning shot by trying to out shine Jordan and push the game to over time. YOU MIGHT THINK KOBE IS THE BEST EVER BUT REAL FANS AND EXPERT SEE HIM AS A ONE DIMENSIONAL SCORER!!!

Michaels greatest asset was his leadership. Steve Nash also has that. Kobe doesn't, bottom line.

Michael basically won championships with a team similar to Kobes, but Jordan got the most out of those guys, pushed them in practice, but also be-friended them on and off the court. His fight with Steve Kerr said it all, you fight when your passionate about something, but they moved past that and kept winning.

Kobes loner status is holding back his team

How many rings did Kobe get because of Shaq? THREE!!! How many could MJ have got without Shaq? SIX! How many times has Kobe made it out of round one without Shaq? NEVER! AND NEVER WILL!...Plain and simple. Im tired of all this Kobe crapola. He is now, officially in my book...THE most over-rated player ever to play the game, or any game, for that matter.
