I defintely disagree with some of the selections.
I would have LeBron James on the first team, instead of Duncan.
And what's up with no Carlos Boozer on any of the three teams?
He's much more deserving then Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Garnett. Shouldn't TEAM success count for something? The guy put up terrific numbers, AND his team one. I guess the Jazz just didn't get on national TV enough.
Also, no Jason Kidd, and only one Piston player?
Even Stoudamire on the first team is questionable, and I really like him as a player.
There selections leave me scratching my head.

Yeah I definitely agree, it looks more like their giving the team awards to popular players than the good players. Boozer and Okur had an excellent year. Wade was hurt the majority of the year and when it counted, they were under 500 but they still put him on the 3rd team. Players who turned shitty teams into good ones this year got little respect. Duncan's numbers have been on a steady decline considering he's got more help in San Antonio but he makes the 1st team year after year.

LeBron should have been first team instead of Duncan, that was obvious

Surprised billups made the team, Kidd deserved it over him as did Iverson

Boozer missed it by 15 points but lost to another player from a playoff team. It's definatly hard to get a spot in a breakout year. If he keeps it up next year he has a much better chance.

Amare is the best center, surprised yao made a team in his partial season. No real centers left and I'm glad they didn't start making up positions again although moving Duncan to center would have been fine with me as LeBron is a first team player. Top 2 player in the entire league.

Dirk and Amare should be out of there. Dirk did have a fantastic run with his Mavericks in the regular season but we all saw how he totally fizzled out in the playoffs where it mattered most. Amare's at his best this year after sitting out almost the whole of last season but I think Dwight Howard stands out at the center slot this year. Howard does everything in the middle. He rebounds, he blocks shots and definitely can score. Amare's a natural power-forward like Kevin Garnett. My picks for the First Team? Nash, Kobe, Lebron, Duncan and Howard.

No, those players sound about right except for carmelo. All those players were consistant thoughout the whole year. Boozer was good then a rough patch for a while then he started turning it up. If he were to stay like he is now for the whole year he will be first team next year

I hate boozer but he is a good player. hes putting solid 20 and 10 in the playoffs and doing it in the cluth. ur right, its too bad jazz aint getting exposed, but they are now. williams and booz is the new stock and malone. i think 1 piston player is fine though, who else would u want on the team and whos spot would he take?

i agree with you in the boozer part but disagree at the duncan part! le bron doesnt yet play better than duncan although it is quite sure he will in the future (duncan is 31 i think and lebron 22)!
