I myself don't think they will even make it. if they get past the nets they will without a doubt will lose to the bulls or pistons. They may get lucky and win the east but then they will lose to the west team in the finals. Am i right?

yes, those people are dreaming. I love the warriors, I am from the bay area but I don't have any pipedreams about them winning the championship.

I think that the Cavs became the favorite because the Bulls, Heat and Pistons were all stuck on the same side of the bracket, essentially beating each other up and letting the Cavs sweep up their remains in the Eastern Conference Finals. But suddenly, the Bulls sweep of the Heat while the Nets are hot makes the East a lot more open. The Bulls might have done themselves a favor by losing to the Nets and getting the Heat instead as the five seed. The rested Bulls and Pistons will get to beat each other up, while the Cavs don't look to have a cakewalk that everyone expected with the Raptors.

Hey Shawn,

i haven't heard anyone picking them other than Cavs fans in Cleveland.

Look how much trouble they had with the Wizards (without Arenas and Butler)- i mean those games were a lot closer than anybody thought.

The Nets are balling right now. We know that defense wins championships -- and the Cavs are not a great defensive team. I mean just look at their best player LeBron- he's not a good defender.

They are at best the 3rd best team in the East. They may not make it past the Nets and even if they do, they won't beat the winner of the Detroit-Chicago Series. And if they get past there no way they're beating either the Spurs or the Suns.

You're absolutley right- Cleveland is only where they are because the East is so weak.

The Cavs are pretty good, the Wizards sucked anyway we all knew the Cavs would sweep them. I think that they will beat the Nets by at least game 6. When it comes to playing the Bulls or Pistons, it's anybody's guess, miracles can happen, look at Golden State, who the heck would have thought they could win a game let alone a whole series. I do think the Cavs have a good chance though.

Cavs? No way. They'll be lucky to get past the nets. The Cavs are a jump shooting team that cant hit jumpshots. Heck even lebron cant hit jumpshots. Cavs need alot more role players before they can be contenders. To me, if they didnt get the second seed, they would have been eliminated by the Heat.

They got what it take to win a championship. They are a championship team, but there is 3 other championship caliber teams so it is gona be hard for them. They got lebron an all around player who can do anything now. Larry Hughes If is is hot he is hot and he got good D. They got Sasha who is gonna be one of the team top 3 players in the next two years. Eric Snow has great D. Z who is good SOMETIMES he is like Larrry Hughes. Daniel Gibson the shooter he can't be stoppped when he is one a roll. He is the team future he is SCOTTIE PIPPEN. Anderson Varjeoa he is wild in the post hint the ame WILDTHANG. Then Dreew And Donyell who make the shot the team needs. OHHH and if you did not notice Damon Jones is not playing no more him and Mike Brown got at it so he wont be playing(see what a three-point contest do to somebody who thinks he is the best shooter in a world) expect him to get traded or get cut. Na d expect the cavs to get another PG, Richard Jefferson. or KG in the off season..

The Cavs wont win because all they have is LeBron. Some people are saying that they will win because they have probably the easiest road. But i think that they wont even get passed the Nets, who are playing great right now. Kidd is AVERAGING a tripple double in the playoffs.
