Basketball (Sports) - January 2007

Nice to see that actually playing has nothing to do with being selected an All star. Too bad someone who may have earned a trip with there play on the court gets to stay home and Shaq gets to go based on reputation and popularity alone, not on merit of his play this season.

All-Star game double standard?

How did Dirk Nowitzki, and especially Steve Nash, not get voted in as a starter? They are the best players on the two best teams in the league, and Nash is on his way to his third straight MVP. What if the tables were turned, and all the starters were white, and LeBron, Kobe, Shaq, and D-Wade were not voted in? There'd be a public outcry claiming the NBA is a racist league.

Steve Nash not a starter in the NBA Allstar game but a candidate for MVP. Should they change the format?

The whole NBA Allstar weekend is going to the craper. Bring back the dunk competitition for everyone to go in and make the stars put on a show that people want to see. Kobe, Lebran, McGrady, Garnet, Anthony, etc in a dunk off, who doesn't want to see that. Are the players that afraid of losing some advertising dollars?

What do you think about Gilbert Arenas remarks about Duke?

I think that Arenas is a piece of crap, he should thank coach K for not selecting him, cause he might have hurt his groin in the olympics and he wont be scoring all those points this year. As far as scoring 84 or 85 points, whatever man, you would have no chance

Who do you think will end up with the worse record in the NBA this year?

Boston? Philly? Charlotte, Atlanta? Seattle? New Orleans? Memphis? All those teams currently are less than .400, but Memphis is the worse with .256... all other are over .300
