Yes it is, My father was an Astronaut back in the early 1960's,
Apollo 11 brought back the first moon rocks.
My dad knew Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins well and many others,
when they talked to him of the mission, there is no doubt.

Tere is video evidence of him being the first person to step foot on the moon, as well as his famous saying "one small step..." Althought there is a conspiracy theory about the government videotaping this in a holywood studio in the 60's.
