I love baseball because I grew up playing it. Also, baseball is usually associated with family and food, some of my other favorite things.

Towards the end of last years high school season and over the summer on my summer ball team I was on a MAJOR slump, and I have no idea what is wrong, as far as I can tell I'm not doing anything different. So, does anyone have any good drills that I can do during the preseason? Thanks in advance.

The Mets have the perfect blend of extremely talented young players, veterans who have the playoff experience and a stacked farm system. Will they be the next dynasty in baseball?

I know its almost impossible for this to happen. But do you think we'll ever see an undefeated MLB team in our lifetime. That would be the greatest achievement known to man if it were to happen. Weren't the 1999 Yankees the closest team to achieving it?

ESPN aways talks bad about the white sox and even know they are the world champs they still bearly talk about them. If they did not win the world series they would never talk about them. They have aways been like this. Why?

Stats show it. They have very low averages and barely any homers.

What do you think? Yankees, White Sox, Red Sox, Mets?
Pierzynski, Bonds, Jeter, Pedro?

Personally, I am White Sox and Pierzynski. Sox fans are jerks, and Pierzynski is perfect for them. Everywhere else he went he was hated by team members and fans, but not for Sox fans. Makes you wonder why.

cheaters like barry bonds and mark mcgwire put up monsterous number and get endless hype and even a one week special to lie about their drug use, but the cleveland indian's travis "pronk" hafner ties the major league record in grand slams averages a grand slam every other plate appearance with the bases loaded and has an on base percentage of just over 1(the highest in after a full season was .950 by babe ruth) all of this on a lousy team and gets not even a blurb in the sports page, is this wrong to anyone else? why is it he wont get mvp votes from anyone outside of cleveland?

Who believes that the Florida Marlins could make it to the playoffs. I mean they are only 5.5 games out, with 40 to go. I think Joe Girardi should be the NL manager of the year. I mean that team wasn't supposed to compete at all, and they are actually better then the Braves. I hope they go all the way. If not then Lets Go Mets, its about time.

I hear that Manny is just as big a jerk and just as surly as Bonds is. And from the looks of his upper body, I'd have to say that he's probably, or likely has been, on 'roids himself. These guys make me sick!
