Baseball Or Hockey?

Baseball all the way i think. I dont like hockey at all but what do you think?

Baseball all the way. Hockey doesn't have the history that baseball does, and baseball is a relatively cheap sport to play. Hockey you gotta pay for the stick, all that gear, skates, etc. Baseball you only have to pay for a glove, ball, and maybe bat to play a game of pickup baseball with other neighborhood kids, where as hockey wouldn't be as easily playable, and in certain parts of the world, you can't play hockey year-round. Baseball is the American pasttime, remember. For me, the "sport" of hockey is summed up with the classic joke, "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out". Hockey is a joke to me. It's a mockery of a sport, and has absolutely nothing on baseball. You always hear stories about poor Latin Americans who rise up from the slums to become a baseball superstar. All the hockey "superstars" you hear about are rich college boys from Eastern Europe. Every hockey player I've talked to says it's soooo hard to get the puck into the net. BS! The hardest thing to do in all sports is hit a round ball coming at you upwards of 90 mph with a rounded bat in such a way that not one of 9 fielders can get the ball or throw you out. It's quite difficult, opposed to hockey, where if you get really close, you pretty much always make it in the net. In close, baseball is the best sport in the history of mankind, and will always be.

I merely love being at Wrigley container, merely being there is wonderful. no longer something beats a delightful summer time day on the ballpark (fantastically observing the cubs:). I wouldnt recognize a lot about hockey because i have under no circumstances been to a hockey sport yet I wager the action could be cool. And each of the digital camera perspectives that baseball promises on television is magnificent.

I grew up with baseball...it was all I wanted to do growing up. Then I found hockey, learned to skate, bought the gear, played roller, played ice. Haven't played baseball since.
