I just received an 'Authentic Wrigley Field Brick' as a present. The Cubs' website said the bricks were lefteovers from recent renovations, but I was wondering if anyone knew exactly which part of Wrigley this brick might have come from? Thanks in advance!

Probably behind home plate, where the new wall was built. However it could have come from anywhere around the home plate area, from dugout to dugout.

It seems to be common knowledge that it will take about 400 Million Dollars or more to renovate Wrigley Field. This will include new Clubhouses for each team. New concession areas and new restroom facilities. While this does nothing to increase seating capacity, at 42,000 and the partnered rooftop seating it all comes down to ad revenue and other park related revenues. Which go a long way to competing with the bigger LA, and New York markets. I think it may be necessary at some point to do it. After all nothing is meant to last forever. And I am as old school and Pro Wrigley as it gets. That said I am also a realist and hope to see a World Series flag flying again someday. So it may be a necessity. Edit just heard on 11/7 that Tribune Co. plans to keep a 50% share of the team due to the poor economy, also sources say Mark Cuban has a 0% chance of being allowed to buy the team.

It probably was from the wall near the warning track that has all the vines covering it.
