Who believes that the Florida Marlins could make it to the playoffs. I mean they are only 5.5 games out, with 40 to go. I think Joe Girardi should be the NL manager of the year. I mean that team wasn't supposed to compete at all, and they are actually better then the Braves. I hope they go all the way. If not then Lets Go Mets, its about time.

everyone has a chance. dontrelle willis can win. it's too bad the fans in miami never get behind the fish, but then again, braves fans don't exactly show up in great numbers either.

the streak may finally end this year... i'd rather see the marlins win it than the mets. girardi should know though (as an ex-cub) that nothing is for certain until it's all over.

No. The Marlins are not going anywhere in October except to the fridge to get another beer.......The NL will probably look something like this..........Mets vs Houston & St. Louis vs LA Dodgers.......My pick to make it to the World Series is the Mets also.....but the wild-card sure does make things more interesting.....

I don't think so.
Cinci is there.
and san diego and Az.
playing in the NL west is a cake walk.
either of the last 2 teams could get hot. and win the wild card. because of the schedule.

the mets suck. i hope the marlins don't make it, and i don't think they will. the braves are bound to start playing better, and the reds, dbacks, padres, giants, and astros all are better than the marlins. i think houston will win.
