Danny Kaye's "The D-O-D-G-E-R-S Song"? It came out in about 1964 or 65. It was on a 45 with Kaye doing a Japanese accented "Mighty Caesy At The Bat" on the flip side. I had it as a kid and just wore it out. The pops and hisses were so bad I had to toss it. I'd love to find out where I can get a copy of either one of or both of these. Any help?

Is it considered a perfect game if, say in the bottom of the 8th an infielder waits on a routine pop up in FOUL GROUND, and drops the ball after making contact with it, with his glove. A normal pop up, very easy play, in foul ground. The batter is therefore deducted a strike, instead of him being out. But is it still a perfect game?

I think all of us can agree that noone deserves $154,320.99 to play 9 innings of baseball, but that's exactly what Alex Rodriguez makes. Most of us don't make that in a year, he makes it 162 times a year. Why do we continue to work our butts off to earn a tiny fraction of what athletes earn only to turn around and lay out cash for tickets, concessions and merchandise so that a bunch of millionaires can hit the field and go through the motions? Today's athletes care more about the money than they do about winning or the fans. The only way the madness of pro salaries is ever going to end is if the public stops paying attention. Why don't we?
