A lot of hard throwers will go over 100 MPH at home as people have said about Zumaya. There's a long history of teams messing with the settings to make a pitcher seem like he is throwing harder. I am not taking anything away from Zumaya or Bobby Jenks or Billy Wagner, but it seems very interesting that these guys only top 100 MPH at home.
Nolan Ryan and Randy Johnson are the only pitchers I remember consistently topping 100 MPH no matter where they pitched. Though home teams may have messed with their radar guns when Wagner came to town as a visitor.

There is less than a handful of pitchers who's fastball consistently hits 100. You do have to realize that unless the radar gun is aimed half way between the pitchers release point and the plate, the reading will be off...The average ML fastball loses 8MPH between the pitchers hand and the plate...So, at least IMHO a pitcher must have released the ball at 104MPH or better to actually be "pitching" a baseball at 100MPH or greater...This is very possible, baseballs have been thrown as far as 450ft and to do that the ball would have had to leave the hand at 120MPH...I think it's entirely possible that outfielders such at Bo Jackson and Roberto Clemente threw baseballs that at their "muzzle" velocity were traveling in the 110-120MPH range...

Billy Wagner and Bobby Jenks have been the consistent flamer throwers over the past couple of years, but Tigers' righties Joel Zumaya and Justin Verlander have been clocked at sup-100 on several occasions this year. Back in the day, Nolan Ryan was among the hardest throwers.

Jamie Moyer. He hits 82-83 on a regular basis.
Just kidding. I've heard that the two guys from Detroit, Zumay and Verlander hit triple digits. Kyle Farnsworth is up there too, but he has a hard time putting the ball where he wants it.

Randy Johnson still has a mean fast ball. But you have too catch him on a day when he is not having control issues.
