Pete The Gambler Rose who violated the rules, lied about it, and now wants everyone to overlook his misdeeds and allow him into the Hall of Fame. I have always felt he should be denied, but I am slowly changing my mind IF a footnote regarding his misdeeds and his banishment from baseball is included beneath his plaque. I guess he deserves to be recognized as the great player he was.
I hope this all makes sense.
