Currently, it's the Tigers. With the White Sox a close second, the Twins coming up behind them and the Mets a far distant fourth. The Cardinals may get few votes, but after they lost 2 out of 3 to the worst team in baseball, they don't count anymore. The Tigers have great pitching, solid defense and good hitting. They are going to be hard to beat the rest of the season.
Of all time, it's the Cardinals. The Yankees don't count as a baseball team. Why? because I hate them. The Cards have won 9 WS and the NL pennant 16 times with five other playoff appearances. Also, they have been around since 1882. That's 20 years older than the Yankees.

Do you mean this year or from years past?
This year, currently, it is the Detroit Tigers in AL and the New York Mets in the NL, at least in W-L category.
Past teams is purely judgemental. 1927 Yankees or 1975 Reds. Take your pick.

I think its the White Sox. Their pitching isnt as stellar as it was last year but theyve added the number one offense in baseball. They can flat out mash with teams now. Despite his off field antics I still think Ozzie Guillen is the best manager in baseball./

definitely the Tigers, though as a Marlins fan (yes, one of a few) I say look out. The Marlins have the best record in baseball since May 1st. Remember 2003? :)

Look at the current standings....NO one has more wins then they do! NO ONE!
The White Sox are very very close, and in a month's time could overtake us.
