They are in the NL.

Mediocrity takes its toll, except in the NL, where it's the goal.

Go Red Sox!

The Cardinals have some problems, but they will probably still make the playoffs. The Reds, who are right behind them, have an absolute horrible bull pen, and they commit way to many errors to be a playoff team. Reds history has proven that this will not improve the second half. The Astros are the team the Cardinals need to watch out for. They just got Roger Clemens back, and they might reel off a streak of wins after the all-star break. I still think the Cardinals are better then most of the N.L. teams. They also have a great manager in Tony LaRussa.

Their pitchers have all lost their focus. Maybe they are all hurt. They all have a history of injuries. That's what happens when you have a bunch of guys with a history of injuries. As for Reyes, he just can't control his pitches. Reminds me of Rick Ankiel. He hit someone in the head yesterday. My goodness. If the pitching can get better, then Cardinals will get better. The hitting is fine. The defense is fine.

There is no problem anymore, for a while, Mulder and Izzy were not doing so great, now Izzy is doing a little better and Mulder is out. Too bad he got so bad, for a while I kinda liked him. Now we got Reyes and he did awesome against Clemens the other day. Clemens, however good he may have been, he's just an old geezer now. anyway, the Cards are doing great winning two against houston in extra innings.

It's just a phase they are going through.

Look out for The Reds, though....they could surprize everyone and win it all.

I have no idea, but my personal problem with them is that they put their trust in Jason Isringhausen, the WORST pitcher in history.

They have a unbalanced team. I mean without the future homerun king they are nothing.
