don't talk trash about him, i want to know what yall seriously think about it. Personally I think at the end of his 22 scheduled races martin may take Ginn up on his offer. what are yall's thoughts? I think if martin does race full time and race for the cup, this may actually be his year.

I have an honest question for all NASCAR fans. Why is it that NASCAR fans are very quick to hit the report button on answers? Maybe questions too, I don't know. Are fans so thin skin that they can't take any ribbing about their drivers? Give me real answers, not "because that's how it is" type of answers.

Ok.. First off -- I know this will never ever happen.. But I have been wondering for a while now.. What would you fans do, If Dale Jr. left DEI and went over and signed to drive for one of the Toyota Teams... Seriously.. I want to know what you think your REAL REACTION would be to that.. I think it's very intersting! That would be a bold move by him if he ever did.. Maybe even career-suicide!!! Think about it, and let me know!

I went to my first race as a fan and came out a fanatic. It was the 2005 All-Star race and Mark Martin won. Last season alone I saw three different races and I plan to go to two more this season plus see a Whelen race.

What was your first race and how did you like it?

I'm not a NASCAR fan, I'll watch the Daytona and maybe a couple ends of races elsewhere...but I've always been dumbfounded why Kyle Petty is always qualifying and racing but can barely ever even scrap together a decent finish in an entire year. Is he a bad driver? Does he have a bad car? What's the deal?

I have enjoyed watching racing for a few years now. Espically Nascar. Unitl recently it has been a tightly kept secret from a lot of my family. Meaning until just recently I only got to watch it on TV for about five minutes at a time.
So Now that it is out in the open I want to learn more about it
My Question is
What are the main Basics of NASCAR? What is the Point system and ranking system? What are the rules of the sport?

I'm probably not the only one who's had this thought either. Dale Jr. hates Teresa, wants out. Teresa probably won't mind too-too much with him leaving. This is a fact, not an idle opinion.

OK, Harvick's old sponsor was GM Goodwrench (inherited from Sr.). He now carries Shell/Penzoil as a sponsor. Again, Fact.

Here is my thought for next season (God, this season is 1/36th over, and I'm already playing speculation games on NEXT year lol). Junior leaves DEI, heads to RCR, where he takes on GM Goodwrench as a sponsor, and seeing as how RCR still owns the rights to number 3, I predict that Junior will be rolling next year in a black GM Goodwrench Impala with a big white 3 on the sides.

Now, since this is Yahoo ANSWERS, I'll end with a question. What do you all think about it? Would you accept seeing Junior drive his Daddy's car? I for one would love it, but ONLY him, no one else. (And I'm a Mark Martin-Tony Stewart fan).

Hey everyone...I'll be going to the Nextel race at California this Sunday, and need some help. This is my first race, and any tips would be appreciated.

Also, I have pit passes and wirstbands for the "Party Zone". The pits close 1 hr. before the race (which is at 1pm), and I don't really know about the PZ. I live about 1 hr. (La Mirada, CA) from the freeway exit to California, so what time should I leave the house considering the traffice will be pretty bad?

And who should I root for? I'm not familiar with the Cali. fans, so who do they hate and who is most liked?

And any other tips/advice are appreciated. =)

When he's an expecting father and is currently married to a very beautiful woman. His ex-wife was good looking and she accused him of cheating with a woman who appeared in Playboy. While Dale Jr on the other hand is driving in a car with JayZee...maybe JayZee and Jr hooked up on the down low.

Anyone else PRAYING that this rumor is true? That would be something... And I would have to raise my glass to that! Let the Bowties, Dodges, and Yota's go at it every weekend and leave that other g-a-r-b-a-g-e @ home! I mean, They did lose a record 12.6 BILLION dollars last year. FORD Exec's say that there plans this year will turn that around, and they will not be pulling out of NASCAR... I think it's just the calm before the storm... Lets get rid of those damn FORDS!

Now, I know this dude is just a "rookie", but he's going to come on fast.. Now I'm not saying he's going to make the CHASE, or even have multiple top-15 finishes... But tracks like California, Michigan..ect.. I see him running strong. The Ganassi Dodges will all run good @ those tracks.. I'm really impressed with the improvement of the #42 Havoline Dodge all together, and highly-impressed with David Stremme.. He's coming on strong in his sophomore year.

Of those drivers who competed in Cup and Busch series races at Daytona, all the driver were white.
This sport needs an African-American driver, I'm tried of all-whites in this sport.

Should it be the person who wins the most races be crowned the champ? They do in most other sports...Look at Stewart who won by laying back in most of his races a few years back...He who has the most wins is the champ and let'em race! Let the cars be a car-not a model for all to use as one..This becomes cookie-cutter-car racing..Make it to were you can tell the difference between the makes and models...Might as well make all cars like IROC or something..Points or no points system?
