When thinking about this whole Jr going to Hendrick mess, and maybe I'm reading too much into it, but do you think there might be a deeper meaning to all of this? What I mean is, we all know that when Dale Sr. died (rest in peace), most, if not all, of his fans immigrated into Jr.'s fan base making it mostly what it is today. I don't know of many people that will dispute that. We also know that Jr. doesn't want his dad's legacy. He wants to make is own name and become a legend his own way, not ride his dad's coattail on the way to becoming a legend. So all of this got me thinking...with everything Jr. has done of late, do you think he might be trying to rid his fan base of his dad's fans?? He is doing an awful lot that the Sr fans are going absolutely nuts about while the fans that have always been just Jr. fans are, for the most part, ok with. From leaving his dad's team to go to be teammates with a driver (Gordon) that the Sr fans absolutely despise for breathing, to leaving Coke...

Just a word of caution: Be very careful about using the word tr0ll in your Q & A. Last week I got a couple of violations and lost on appeal simply for using that particular word! Apparently in the rules it is stated you can't use the word. I just wondered if anyone else had the same experience.

I read on jayski.com that ginn racing is looking at a merger with dei. Ginn racing is lacking funding right now and have already shut down their busch series team, with driver reagan smith. They're looking to get smith more seat time, so my guess would be that they will move him into sterlings, or nemechecks cup ride for the rest of the year.

Then, if they do merge with dei they will have to get rid of two teams, since the maximum is four.

So my guess is marlin, and nemechek will get the boot.

Does anybody have any more ideas, or information on this? thanks alot.

Wow! I'm really shocked that so many of you are bashing David G or leading our new members to believe he's a cheater.
Here is my humble opinion.

#1 I'm going to agree with Miami fan in that some of the Best Answers David gets voted on are not in fact the best answer. And David and I have discussed this (via email) and he was the first to admit this was true as well.

#2 Is this DavidG's doing? NO, he ALWAYS has put "Jeff Gordon Rules" as his source, he has from day 1 that I started on here and has never stopped. The fact that people are voting for him is in no way in his control either. You mean to tell me if I wanted to be the Best Answerer in here all I have to do is put "Dale Jr Rules" as my source and all you Jr fans are going to vote for me? It's that simple? Well shoot then why not! Hey for all you Harvick, Bowyer and Kenseth fans, go for it do it too and from now on screw it, we won't even read the other answers we'll just know who to vote for! Hmmmmmmm wait

I was wondering how many people would not like JR. going with pepsi like it is looking he is going too. Since I was a earnhardt fan before JR. I do like him and root for him now but Pepsi would be crossing the line for me Hendrick I could live with but not Pepsi. His dad more less started the Coke family and I think Jr. should not ever sell out what made him so popular. What does everyone else think on this?

Hendrick won 9 of 10 and 10 of 12 races, but have not won a race in the last 5 and none since 2 of the Hendrick teams were found to have made an illegal alteration. I wonder if they were cheating until they got caught or if the other teams like Gibbs and Roush have all of a sudden passed Hendrick as the premier teams

Instead of going left, left, left, left.
Why don't they have a track they go right, right, right, right?
How about making right hand turns and driving clockwise in a circle? They always drive counter clockwise on ovals......

Kyle Busch needs to shut his freakin mouth and just drive the race car? He keeps complaining about his teammates not helping him, Jeff Gordon "blowing him off" when Jeff was giving a freakin interview and now he says he ain't helping Jeff, Jimmie, or Casey. Geez, just shutup no one cares.
I know he is leaving Hendricks at the end of the year (thank God) but he is complaining more than a chick.

I notice that alot of voted for, "best answers" are picked for david g. One of my most recent questions were left to vote. If you care to read it, it is the "thumbs down" question. It is obvious to me, that the only reason that david g. is top answerer, is because of the Jeff Gordon Rules, that he puts on his answers. Yes, I know that Gordon is popular, but c'mon people. This is not meant to dog david at all. Sometimes his answers truly are the best, yet in a lot of cases, there are better answers. For example, the way he answered my question, did not even answer my question at all. david g. implied, in his answer, that "when you start saying that about someones driver you get a lot of people mad". At no time did I say anything bad, or good for that matter, about any driver in perticuler. People need to read the answers and not just go with the one that says "Jeff Gordon Rules", just because they are a Gordon fans.
