Favorite -Watkins glen
least favorite-California
Watkins glen is not only an interesting and beautiful track,it takes a lot of ability to race it well.California, well, you could race garbage trucks,Indy cars, tricycles or mules, they wouldn't be able to pass each other. That makes for the most BORING attempt at racing that I have ever had the misfortune to witness.

Favorite(s) - Talladega and Daytona. Why? - The racing is more exciting when everyone is bunched up, unlike Chicago and tracks like that. There is no winner until the first car crosses the finish line. Medium tracks, the cars are usually spread out too much.
Second Favorite(s) Short Tracks, mainly Bristol. I call it "Arena Racing". Very fun to watch. I remember Dale Sr. bumping Terry LaBonte out of the way on the last lap of a night race there.
Least - Road Courses. I'm also not a fan of open wheel racing for the same reason. Boring.

My answer is based on tracks that I have been to, which are Atlanta,, Bristol, and Talladega.
My favorite track is Atlanta Motor Speedway. I like it because there's not a bad seat in the house, plus the track is easy to get to and to get away from. Bristol is a close 2nd.
My least favorite track is Talladega. I have become less and less of a fan of restrictor plate racing. But the main reason is the low class of people that go to Talladega. Not all of them of course, but there's a ton of low class no class redneck hillbilly's there to screw it up for us regular folks. I have never see so many white trash people in one place in my life.
I also don't care for the paper clip track at Martinsville, although I have not been there in person.

My least favorite is Sonoma... it just takes entirely too long and it almost seems like 9 times out of 10 the guy to come out of the pits 1st on the last stop is the one who wins because the track just has so many damn turns.
My favorite is Daytona... something exciting ALWAYS happens there and the track is big enough for them to go full speed the entire race. Good stuff!

fav track is daytona with out a doubt. good fast racing good finishes. least fav track is bristol. usually about 5 cars lap the field and there is no racing just driving in a bowl for 500 laps and pissing each other off. i mean they need to make that track about a mile bigger then it might be fun but it sucks right now. i hate all short track.

Bristol is my favorite, it's the closest thing to the Saturday night local racing I used to love.
Least favorite, I guess any of the newer tracks that are low-banked and only have one racing groove.

Favorite:
Bristol or Martinsville - Close quarters bumper to bumper, you gamble and pit under green, you can go from first to 2 laps down in no time.
Least Favorite:
Talladega - Restrictor plates have made the big tracks so boring. The cars barely look like they're moving, not much passing.

Least favorite - Chicagoland - racing is fast but too boring.
Favorite - Toss up - Richmond or Dover. Both are great places to watch a race and the racing usually includes a lot of side-by-side, semi-full contact driving.

My favorite is Bristol. I like the excitement of short tracks and the strategy and finesse used.
Least favorite is Sonoma. I don't really enjoy the lack of passing.
