With no races today, I'm sure everyone had more free time to do other things. I've enjoyed being lazy today. I slept in until 2pm! It's been peaceful at my house without the tv on and the races going. Guess I'm just going to continue relaxing for the day. What has everyone else done today? Have you enjoyed having free time without no race on today, or has it drove you crazy without the races coming on today?

I just wanted to thank everybody for voting for Jeff Gordon on Who's Now. It turned out that he didn't win. It wasn't even close. I don't remember the exact results but I think it was 67% for Lebron and 33% for Jeff. I just know for sure that Jeff didn't win. Thanks to everybody who voted for Jeff!

getting paranoid? I miss the true racing posts on here. Speaking for myself, I began "hunting" tr0lls when all the nasty, derrogatory, sexually explicit questions from the green rainbow guy started. Then other new id's began popping up with the same questions, or supportive answers. I find this disgusting. I really don't care how many id's people on here have. It's not the number of id's causing the problems. I don't care how many points I get, or how many best answers either. They don't matter to me. I enjoy the exchange of info and challenges presented here. I just hate to see a handful of people ruining it for everyone else. I don't have any of you blocked, with the exception of 2 new id's who blocked me first. I am not accusing any of the Nascar fans of being tr0lls. I don't believe that our tr0ll (or tr0lls) is one of the true fans here, including David B , it is someone who comes here just to cause trouble. If I have offended any of you, I did not mean to.

I have a question. I came in here a week ago or so to ask a question or two that I was in need of an answer for. I'd answered a couple questions since, but I'm not a big computer person. To me it seems like that same people are always in here, but everyone is aruging all the time. I see questions about bashing driver, people being called a troll and people having more than one account, others posting questions directly towards others. It seems like every time I come in here, I feel like I'm in a boxing ring. Am I right about this? If people can't get along, then why keep coming back here? Do the same people come back here daily?

The #20 Gibbs car and #24 Hnedrick car just got togther in the Busch race anyone else feel like the future of Nascar is safe.Rivalries will live on long past Tony and Jeff hanging it up.Thats good to know.

It's that boy's 1st time racing in NASCAR, he qualified 6th starting position and has remained in the top 10 the first half of the race. Really impressive for someone's 1st time out racing for NASCAR.

respect to the F-l family and show that no matter what division of racing it is we are nothing but class (unlike the trolls on here) and don't like to see anybody get hurt.. Let's give a shout out to Louis Hamilton after he escaped series injury during a qualifying run today. He is out of the hospital and is expected to be okay, but the crash was really nasty and he is really fortunate to come out unscathed. So..Yea Louis I'm glad you are okay buddy!! Hope to see you in the race on Sunday! ^_^ Smiles!!!

They could try lining the truck and cup races together more than the Busch cars. Then maybe more of the cup drivers would race the trucks for practice.I will be the first to admit I don't watch a whole lot of the races but probable would if I was more familiar with the drivers. If you watched a truck race you know the racing is pretty good alot more bumping and banging like the old days.

Why do we, as fans, waste our time answering questions that bash NASCAR or the drivers? Is it the quick 2 points? i'm not talking about decent ones. I'm refering to the "NASCAR sucks" and "Why are the drivers considered atheletes". These ummmmm, "educationally challenged" questions.

-Yes, you drive in intense conditions, but that does not warrant you as an athlete

-Yes, you have to draft and take turns very quickly, but that does not make you an athlete.

-You do not lift anything, you do not run, and you do not do anything that an average human being could not do (Apply pressure on a pedal and turn a wheel)

-Yes, some of the drivers can do backflips. Congrats, but what does that have to do with the sport?

-It does take skill to drive in those conditions, but put me in a stock car with enough experience, and I guarantee you I won't come in last, unless I crash

Why do people say Nascar drivers are athletes? In order to be athletes, they have to be athletic. They are not, not all of them anyway. Why don't they ever do Charity Basketball games or anything that takes atheletisim? And don't tell me that I should go try driving, it might be hard to drive those cars, but you do not have to be athletic to drive a car. That is stupid. They are not athletes. I don't want any stupid asnwers from any stupid Nascar fans. Because I know they are not athletes, I just want to know your dumb reasons why you think they are.
