With no races today, I'm sure everyone had more free time to do other things. I've enjoyed being lazy today. I slept in until 2pm! It's been peaceful at my house without the tv on and the races going. Guess I'm just going to continue relaxing for the day. What has everyone else done today? Have you enjoyed having free time without no race on today, or has it drove you crazy without the races coming on today?

First, I woke up at 11 this morning with a pounding headache because I stayed up all night reading the last Harry Potter book. I haven't cracked open a book since December really, due to no real time to get any reading done, so reading all 700 some pages in one night was a real feat for me.

I jumped out of bed, went and took an aspirin, and got excited because it's Sunday!

Then I remembered that it was the NASCAR weekend off, so I sulked for a while. And then I did some cleaning around the house that my family has been neglecting ever since we ordered the bigger package on Dish Network and got the SPEED channel.

And now, I'm watching clips of different things on YouTube to get a bit of a NASCAR fix. Not as good as a whole race, but I guess it will just have to do.

Plenty of real races today just not NASCAR, Started off with GP2 race and a great entertaining F1 race with a pass for the win with just a few laps left. Not to bad of a IRL race and then some real brave souls in the MOTO GP and AMA. What a great day.

Yep. Watched the Busch race on Saturday Night, and the Indy Car race and the Champ Car race today. And getting NASCAR 08 in a few days. That should help me when there's no race on the weekend. :) So, I got my fill of racing today.

Uhhh, the question said nascar races, not just any races, whoever popped off with every dealybob there was on tv today.

I had to work so my dvr got a day off. Did some yard work and got dinner ready for the barbecue (shrimp and scallop skewers with garden vegetables and new york steak.)

I missed my normal routine of coffee in the morning with my nascar guys on Speed.
I like it better when there IS a race and all the other pre-race shows.
Today was extremely boring, nothing much else to do.
My weekend usually starts on Friday's with quals, then ends on Sunday night with VL.
Yes, this has been an extremely long weekend for me.

A whole weekend of Nascar rules!!!!!

I was depressed until I put on a race I recorded earlier in the year.

I miss the 42 commercials that run durring the races. Nascar has gotta do something about that. I have heard many complain.
