respect to the F-l family and show that no matter what division of racing it is we are nothing but class (unlike the trolls on here) and don't like to see anybody get hurt.. Let's give a shout out to Louis Hamilton after he escaped series injury during a qualifying run today. He is out of the hospital and is expected to be okay, but the crash was really nasty and he is really fortunate to come out unscathed. So..Yea Louis I'm glad you are okay buddy!! Hope to see you in the race on Sunday! ^_^ Smiles!!!

Absolutely, he is an awesome driver and I hope he is O.K. Say what you will about the stockcars being slower and having less technology but at least when you crash one you almost always WALK away. With Indy, F1 and the Champ cars when they crash there is not all that much to protect the drivers and they are usually going at faster speeds.

All of these racers Nascar,F1 etc. put their lives on the line
and we've got to respect that.
The bashing is getting old. If you like F1, okay you like F1
If you're a Nascar fan, okay you're a Nascar fan.
Why put the other down just because it's not your favorite.?

I don't mind F1 at all. What I don't like is the so-called F1 fans who come in here and bash NASCAR w/o ever going into the F1 section. Know what I mean?
I've seen some nasty crashes, both on tv (NASCAR, F1, NHRA), and in person (NHRA), and I always cheer when the driver walks away. It's great to hear that Hamilton is expected to be okay. Always great news!

I was an F1 Fan before I became a NASCAR Fan. I love Lewis and all he has done this season. I am gald he is ok and look forward to seeing him get back out on the track and continue his miraculous season.

Whether it is F1 or NASCAR or any other kind of racing; racing is racing and we all need to be respectful of one another. I don't like IRL but I don't go around being rude about it.

Yeah, I'm down with that. Glad Louis is o.k. F-1 ain't my thing but I respect anyone who straps on a helmet and drives precision machinery at high speeds.
I'll have to check it out. I was busy running go karts with my son against my wife. I got stuck in lapped traffic and she beat me!!!

He is really lucky!!! How some of them drivers walks away from a crash like that unhurt amazes me! I got to give praise to the builders for making safer race cars.

Geez..that was a bad crash!!! Like Gloria_512 said, his guardian angel was with him.
My Daddy always told me "Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly." l guess Hamilton's angel was keeping up with him.
