Richard Petty thinks by moving from Level Cross, NC to Mooresville, NC a distance of about 50 to 60 miles, will help his team win races. Personally, I think it's the equipment, who's on the team and the driver thats in the car that wins you races right? What do ya'll think?

Now that it is officially available, will the orders be shipped sooner?

"Merchandise bearing Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s future sponsor, Mountain Dew Amp, and car No. 88 have hit the market within the past month, thanks to a groundbreaking agreement he reached with Budweiser, his departing sponsor".

Who do you think will win the Cup?

I'm a Jr fan. Right now I don't care who wins as long as it not Jimmie.

blacks and other minorities in NASCAR? Is this the same
operation that occured prior to 1948 in sports. They don't
want to be the best in the sport , but only to be the best
white person in the sport!

I have the display case from QVC to display the 1/24 Action and Motorsport Authentics but have not found a quality product to hold the WC 1/24 scales(still in box) without getting dusty. Any ideas?

Personally, I think it's a good move, IF you can monitor teams, and make sure none of them are cheating. That's the tough part. More importantly, I think you'll find out who the real pilots are. Too many of these kids simply push the throttle down, relying on the cars trac & limited slip to do all the work. Ever watch Alonso's telemetry? It's hysterical...FULL on...FULL off...no in between. Will enjoy watching him drive a car w/ out launch control, trac, etc. See if he really matches up to his rep.

I'm actually excited about F1 for the first time in years!

What other changes would YOU suggest, too?

They were both great, but many times Senna acted like a thug, so i guess Prost was better, maybe a little bit less speedy (only in the practice, not during the race), but by far more intelligent and classy than Senna. Senna was very skilled with wet races.
What do you think about it?

Do me a favor please? Go to Nascar.com then go to Cross Words Texas...You will find the Stats for Junior. Read them n get back to me with your answers. U don't have to like him, just read the Stats in black n white. This will be a reality check for a lot of you...no need to bother if y'all are just going to continue bashing his driving. Be nice, we can all play well together if y'all try. :]

just to put a smile on your face...how many people have actually done some of these things?

You know you are a NASCAR fan when...

-you draft behind eighteen wheelers on the interstate.
-you "find your line" on back country roads.
-you slow down until you form a line behind you to simulate leading a race.
-you spent your childrens college fund to transform you car into your favorite drivers car
-you swerve left to right in morning traffic to warm up your tires
-sitting at a red light, waiting for it to turn green so you can get a better restart than the person beside you
-when the cop asks you why you were speeding, tell him you were qualifying
-you have ever considered trading your actual window for a net

yes...i am guilty of some of these..have a good one everyone

Pick for:

Pole winner
Race winner
43rd
Top chaser
Top non-chaser
Rookie of the Race
Dark Horse(s) (not your RotR pick)

My biased picks:

Pole: #12
Win: #07
43rd: #49
Chaser: #07
Non-chaser: #25
RotR: #15
Dark Horse (or, as Rusty would say, "Dork Harse"): #70
