How cool would it be if they actually tied in the Championship points? How would it be settled? Would Jimmie win since he has the most wins this season? Just a thought!!

Doubtful that it would ever happen. It will probably be close, though. In the event of the tie, it would go to the driver with the most wins.

I think it'd make some great drama if they tied, but I wouldn't like that......only because I'm a Gordon fan. If they tied, Jimmie would win by having the most wins this season.

How about instead of that amazing ending.. Jeff Gordon barely wins the championship, over his teammate, and it comes down to the last corner of the last lap, and Gordon wins, and if that did happen Johnson would win due to most wins. Unless Gordon sweeps the next two races then they would be tied and then its between second place finishes and so on.

I think that if it happens the championship should go to the driver leading the points in the "Regular season"

A tie for the Cup would be handled like a tie for any position.
Most wins, if none-most 2nd place, if none-most 3rd place and so on until the tie is broken.

No they won't tie. I don't see that happening! What I would like to see is them racing for the championship one or more laps down to anyone!

yeah, the guy with the most wins would win the title
if they were tied for wins, too, the guy with most top-5s would win... then top-10s, etc.
