For EdP..I never said he is the best or greatest driver...This wasn't about how many wins he's had.... Facts n Truth - where would any of the 12 drivers in The Chase be with 6 engine failures...DEI best equipment??? ...As to Ryan Newman fans...Juniors fan base is a lot larger..they are vocal at races... Not bashing Newman because I happen to like him...Tony Stewart is my 2nd favorite driver...once again..."all I stated were Truth n Facts" ... Do a little more research on your facts. :]

It doesn't matter you can throw stats at Jr haters until you're blue in the face, they'll still say Jr's a crappy driver. Lord knows I do all the time.

I'm not a Junior hater at all, but he's not the first driver that this has happened to. For example, take a look at Jeff Gordon's 2005 season.

He had four wins that year, but also had 9 DNF's (one more than Jr. had this year). He didn't make the chase that year, and plenty of people were writing him off. The fact that he didn't make the chase negated the fact that he had four wins that year. Jr. doesn't have any wins this year, so it's hard to argue about his stats being great.

Jr. has good stats, but he just doesn't have the wins he should have. You can only blame so much of that on equipment. Do I think he's a bad driver? Not at all. Do I think that him going to HMS is going to be the miracle cure for him not winning? Honestly....no. I think he'll win races, but I don't think he's going to be the dominant driver that people are banking on.

I'll repeat, I'm not a Jr. hater. I'm basing my opinion on his career stats. DEI once had some of the best equipment out there. It wasn't until this past year that their equipment really became a big issue.

I havent been a basher I just speak the truth about him. What I dont like is when Jr. fans whine and cry about his engine blowing up. Ryan Newman has 1 more DNF than Jr. this is a fact. But you dont see Newman fans posting daily of weekly whining and what iffing.-- The other thing about it that bugs me is Jr. fans saying he is the Best Driver--The Greatest Driver going--Fact is that I have stated these facts about him which is not a bashfest--These drivers all started out driving in the 1998-2001 seasons--Facts Johnson & Stewart have more wins than Jr.--Newman has more poles than Jr. AND Kurt Bush, Kennseth, and Johnson Have won a Championship and Stewart has won 2--Jr Started out driving in this time frame as well and has won 0 Nextel Championships. All this while being the Big Chief at DEI in their best equipment--personnel and finances of sponsers. So the fact is he is not the best or Greatest driver amongst his peers who started out at the same time. People can LIKE_LOVE_ADMIRE their favorite driver but you cant convince other people to feel the same way. Let the Thumbs down begin I have only wrote the Truth and Facts!!!!

Wow, I can't believe this, this is unbelievable! I'm speechless. I absolutely hate wrestling haters you just barge in here and ask stupid questions like "If you guys know wrestling's fake, why do you watch it?". There's a hater here called "BeeRad" and he's annoying the hell out of me, he's asking the same question every single day countless times. He's also sending me e-mails saying we wrestling section users are gay, and I'm like F*CK YOU! Haters think this is what pro wrestlers do: 1. Read the script. 2. Get in the ring. 3. Do what the script says without actually hurting the opponent. I report every answer/question I see from a wrestling hater. They think they fake injuries just to get some time off. WQ: I'm no hater, and I can NOT do this every day of my life.

No question that without the engine failures, Jr would be in the Chase. There's also no question that even if he had made the Chase, it would still be a Johnson/Gordon battle to the checkers at Miami. The DEI nightmare is almost over...February can't come soon enough! 88 in 08!

It's a shame that they never mention those stats on TV...I'm a Jr fan and I think he's gotten a lot of bad breaks. It should be interesting to see what happens in 08 (will he be another Casey Mears with only 1 win?) I sure hope not!

Yeah i looked and he has 17 Career wins. And people bash Jimmie?? I don't dislike Jr, he seems like a great guy and does have the wrong car. Hopefully he will do better in Hendrick. In the meantime, GO JIMMIE!!!

Jr is a good driver and all the engine failures that he had during the year sure did hurt him. He would probably be in the chase if it weren't for that. But then also my driver had his share of engine failures too, but still made the chase. Anyways I'm not sure why you have to argue this case, everyone knows Jr is a good driver and on his way to being a champion with HMS!!!

I am Dale Jr fan all the way... Its a free country and people have a right to their own opinions.. I just hope people lighten up a bit next yr when they see how well he can go with great equipment at HMS and starts winning races and makes the chase...I wish he would have left sooner.. But I'm looking for to next yr..I wish Daytona was this weekend... Hey, what about this, everyone is sick of Jimmie Johnson winning all the time....what if this is Jr next yr....wouldn't that be great..

Go Dale Jr & HMS in 2008

There was another DEI driver that was blowing engines and he made it in the chase. Also the collaboration with RCR and three of them made it. That in it's self speaks.

Jr will do great next year. I can't wait. He has a lot of desire and has tried to stick with DEI when he could have been long gone way before now. His best bet is to worry about himself and let Teresa do what she can do with DEI regardless of if it is success or the fall of DEI.

Sticking with DEI has hurt his career statistics and I'm sure he has tried to stay there out of honor for his father. He knows it's time to concentrate on his fans and give them victories.

There's going to be a lot of celebrations next year for Jr fans. Hang in there and we will be the ones saying "I told you so".
