just to put a smile on your face...how many people have actually done some of these things?

You know you are a NASCAR fan when...

-you draft behind eighteen wheelers on the interstate.
-you "find your line" on back country roads.
-you slow down until you form a line behind you to simulate leading a race.
-you spent your childrens college fund to transform you car into your favorite drivers car
-you swerve left to right in morning traffic to warm up your tires
-sitting at a red light, waiting for it to turn green so you can get a better restart than the person beside you
-when the cop asks you why you were speeding, tell him you were qualifying
-you have ever considered trading your actual window for a net

yes...i am guilty of some of these..have a good one everyone

OUCH! I drive an eighteen wheeler for a living, and I get uncomfortable when someone gets behind me and "drafts".

It's much worse at night, they like to get just a little bit left and shine the headlight into my rear view mirror, which totally sucks, because it causes eye strain.

I usually slow down a little bit at a time, until they finally go around.

And yes, I have done most of the other things on the list!

OH, and college fund? What redneck toothless beer drinking wife-beating NASCAR fan has a "college fund"?(being facetious here, have to point that out, some people don't get this kind of self-effacing humor!)

Just this morning as a matter of fact. I was in a line of cars in the center lane, with the outside lane moving slowly and the inside lane being the merge lane onto the interstate. I was pretending I was in the draft at Talladega going to the inside to make the pass...and the cars merging were cars pulling onto the track from pitrow...haha.

And I'm also guilty of several of those mentioned, most usually the drafting one...when we travel I usually pick a "drafting partner" and stay behind them most of the way.

OMG, these were great, I'm guilty of at least 5 of these, the big rig draft is great, I though the person riding with me, was going to have a coronary.. Yep, I'm quilty....big time...But I love being a Nascar Fan, nothing is going to stop me. You should send these in to the guys at Race Day on Speed TV they'd love these..

Nascar Rules and so does Dale Jr.

I group all of these into what I call "Nascar Moments" while driving... and sometimes, it's the only thing keeping me from falling asleep on the road! lol

I love "warming up" my tires to freak people out, and certainly love finding the line on some back roads!

Those are great. I wouldn't mind having a JG Monte Carlo! But transforming MY car.. lol.. out of the question.

I saw a Dale Jr chevy truck on my way back home from TMS on Monday. Looked pretty cool. :)

These were great.

Thought about transforming my car but since it is a company car did not think the boss would appreciate it.
The rest I think I have done all of them, only thought about the bump drafting but haven't had the guts to do it.

I LOVE NASCAR

1. no I won't get that close to a semi
2.guilty
3. no
4. Umm no somehow the new #88 paint scheme would'nt look right on a Kia
5. no
6. every damn red light I'm at
7. no
8. no, but I've owned a car that I had to get in through the window though.
And to the person who said wanting to bump draft slower drivers, sh*t I've outright wanted to bump and run them (that airbag thing kinda deters that). And yes I've actually traded paint with a friend of mine too.
Oh yeah, tend to do the spotter thing too when my kid's driving.
I've actually seen two separate Monte Carlos painted in the #8 Budwieser scheme (one in NJ, one in SC), and another painted in the #24 Pepsi scheme in Portland, OR.

When my driver wins a race, I do victory donuts on my 4 wheeler. It's comical.
