We all are living in times of such passion N knowledge of self only; which is driven with senses N emotions of fear, hatred & jelousy only in the self; N which is motivated in self through thoughts N ideas of lust, greed & self interest of others only towards the self; as well as in the times of illnessess, sicknssess, &deseases of various different kinds in the body, mind, souls,intelleigence & wisdom.

What is it that U are doing to ensure that ur children earn their livlihood with those abilities of self in self only; which can be gained from powers of; actions of committments, devotion dedication of self only towards the goal ; performance of noble deeds of self by self only; value systems of spirits of joy, love, and compassion of self together with pleasantfullness and satisfaction of self, and goodness and happiness of self in self only;and finally from the powers of knowledge of the existance, presence and working of the qualities N abilities of all above only in the self.

Do they realize that the media is LYING to them? I got to talk to a Muslim person today. He was a very good man and he started an organization that helps parents reconnect with their families after they get out of prison. He told me he used to live on the streets and he did drugs and was constantly drinking. Then, he found Islam and it helped him put his life together and work to help others. He explained and showed me that Islam is NOT a religion of violence or killing but a one of peace. He also told me the Muslim extremists are actually enemies of Islam because they give the religion a bad reputation. He spoke truthfully from his heart and really opened my eyes today. Why can't most Americans look past the ranting fools in our media who think they know everything about the religion when they are not Muslim, stop judging Muslims and actually listen to a Muslim person and hear the truth from a person who would know best?

In the Markan Gospel, how does he write differently compared to Luke and Matthew, the other two of the synoptic Gospels? I'm looking for differences in the passion narrative of Christ as opposed to the infancy narrative or anything else.

to grasp the fact that Mary indeed had other children after giving birth to Jesus? She was a flesh and blood human being......who later married the man Joseph whom she was engaged to.after being picked by Jehovah God to fulfill a special assignment

Please explain why you feel that she didn't have other children, even though the Bible tells us that she did.

Can I write one, or is that not really considered a research paper? A research paper is defined as having a say for a certain topic, and proving it with facts, e.t.c.

This is a question I've been considering for a while and I'm wondering if anyone can explain this to me.

The Gospel According to Matthew begins with "The family tree of Jesus Christ, David's son, Abraham's son: Abraham had Isaac, Issac had Jacob.........Matthan had Jacob, Jacob had Joseph, Mary's husband, the Mary who gave birth to Jesus, the Jesus who was called Christ." (excerpt from The Message)

So, my question is, if Jesus was not Joseph's son, then how is this Jesus Christ's family tree? What is the purpose of listing Joseph's family history? What does it matter that he was Abraham's decendent? Wouldn't that be irrelavant, since Jesus was the product of Mary concieving as a Virgin? If a family tree/history mattered, wouldn't it be Mary's that would be of some relevance?

I've always been curious about this, any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I mean, what's in it for scientists who believe in evolution and a 4.6-billion-year-old earth?

What do scientists have to gain by disagreeing with Creationism if (as Creationists believe) all honest scientific work supports it? Do Creationists believe that mainstream scientists get their jollies from making up wild untrue hypotheses about life and the universe? What would be the point?

Oh, and with regard to a previous question of mine: I looked up those "human" footprints that are supposed to exist next to dinosaurs footprints. Somehow the Creationists' descriptions are always more compelling than the actual evidence.

Shouldn't you be able to cope better in prison as an atheist? If the reason is because of parole, wouldn't it be more practical to be an atheist since you can demonstrate your kindness and willingness to change without the constraints of religion?

I go to church and I listen to the pastor but I've never read the bible cover to cover. If I wanted to read the bible, should I read it cover to cover? Or should I start in a particular spot? How should it be done?

Also, my 6 year old goes to children's church, how to I teach him about the Word myself? Where do I start?

Supposedly we are born with dead souls and must be "born again" because our progenitors decided to eat a piece of fruit that somehow contained knowledge. First of all... what kind of crazy fruit contains transferable knowledge, and secondly, how does eating such amazing fruit kill a soul or separate a soul from a god that is supposedly omnipresent?

Please provide evidence if possible. Note also that scripture does not equal evidence... your claim should be independently attestable.

I am a poor mother of three children. Thankfully, I am not yet in danger of being on the street. I also have severe depression. I am in college , but I have a long way to go. I was a christian, but I am in the process of converting to Judaism. It makes more sense to me on every level of being except how to pray. How do you ask G-d to help you through difficult times? How do you get comfort as a Jew in hard times? Christians, please leave me alone. I didn't ask you.
