It is just part of the jewish conspiracy that created christianity in order to control more of the "goyam". That includes islam as well. So far it seems to be working.

The old testament was written specifically for the Jewish nation. The old testement contains the laws of Moses and proclaim the coming of Christ. As others have said Jesus was a Jew. He first belived he was sent only to the Jews, but then realized that he was here for not only the Jews but the Gentiles as well. The reasons Christians look at the Old Testament is it shows great examples of God's love and compassion. Also the Old Testament has several predictions of Christ coming to earth to save us all.

Because Christianity is Jewish. Look Jesus was Jewish and the disciples and the first Christians they were all Jewish until Paul brought Christianity to the Gentiles.

Because that's the only Bible there is and the Bible is the true word of God. God chose Abraham to be the father of his chosen people, the people who are now called Jews. The Bible is about the relationship between God and his chosen people. The purpose of the Jewish people was to serve the world for God and prepare the way for Messiah (who is Jesus). But the Jews fell short of the goal and most of them failed to recognize the Messiah when he came, so God turned to the gentiles to serve the world. We haven't done such a good job either, but fortunately God's plan is still on track.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and point to the fact that Jesus was Jewish, as were his early followers. Not to mention the coming of a messiah is prophesied in the OT. Jesus claims to be that messiah. Christianity began as a Jewish sect.

Once Jesus died on the Cross at Calvery and was resurrected forever opening the door to salvation to all mankind, the veil in the temple was torn into remember, actually jewish tradition says the whole temple split down the middle, but anyway Jesus now says you are either a believer or a unbeliever, Galations 3:28,Says There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. So you see it is not the really a Jewish Bible. God is no respector of persons, and if anyone wants to be saved they can, Jesus said in John 3:3 except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. That goes for everybody. Jesus was the Perfect lamb, born of a virgin, read the book of Isaiah 7:14, almost all of Jesus's life was prophesied in the OT. Jesus preached from the OT. I love the Bible, and since I am saved I am grafted in as the Apostle Paul says. Praise the Lord. Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Do you have that joy of the Lord down in your heart? You can, Jesus is waiting, take that step of faith, pray this prayer and be born again, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

The Jewish Bible is technically the Talmud.

The Old Testament you refer to is not "Jewish" it is a Hebrew document. Jews are the descendants of Judah one of the twelve tribes. The other tribes are not jewish although Paul does refer to himself as Jewish although he was a Benjaminite.

The Messiah was jewish and a descendant of Judah as was King David.

Really! I don't recall the gospel of John or the letter of Romans in the Jewish Bible. What's up with that?

That's sort of like asking why Einstein used Newtonian mathematics. The new doesn't necessarily displace the old. Jesus said "I have not come to abolish the law". As the Old Testament is that law, it is still relevant. The Old testament is the foundation of Christianity, and the New Testament is the fulfillment of Christianity.

Because Jesus was a Jew!

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets(The Old Testament books); I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."
