No, he has wolverine's claws and a nuclear bomb launcher.
Anyway, the story about the devil is more mythology than fact. It could be that it was some alien race that long ago had some kind of revolution and then came to earth...but....
That's just a wild guess and there's no fact to back it up.
The devil represents evil, and it's probably just the personification of a concept that is difficult to explain to people, especially children.
So, maybe it originally started as a great pearl of wisdom made into this very interesting metaphorical story about a war between good and evil, god and the devil...
And then over time, like broken telephone, stuff got lost in the transmission.
Until parents were using the Devil with his horns and pitchfork as a kind of boogeyman story to scare their kids into obedience.
but I still think he has wolverine's claws and a nuke launcher.
Except the claws are like fifty feet long and can cut through titanium like it was a hot knife through butter. Or like a hot laser through butter.

The horns/pitchfork thing was early christianity's way of demonizing early pagan beliefs. They made pan, Cernunous and several other pagan deities and demi gods into demons and devils. Once again, this is what happens when one culture conquers another.

I know the guy. We go drinking on Saturdays. The DEVIL is actually a pretty ordinary looking dude, who does not like being addressed by his full name of The DEVIL. Usually we just call him The.
He does have a pitchfork and has been known to impale those who beat him at billiards upon it, cursing their souls to eternal torment. It is wise not to beat The DEVIL at billiards.

Let's look at one possible source for the horns. Michaelangelo carved a statue of Moses that had horns. This led to many christians saying that Jews have horns and are devils.
The word for rays of light and horns is the same in Hebrew. Keren. Where the Torah said Moses face shone, christians said he had horns.
You can see a picture of it here: http://www.romaviva.com/Santa-Maria-Maggiore/moses.htm

The "devil" was originally one of God's highest angels, so can appear as "an angel of light" (as can his buddies who joined him.) That is how they entice suspectible people, not by running around in Halloween costumes. But dressed to party hearty and be the coolest on the block, like the resident drug dealer. By being a slick marketing guy selling spiritually dangerous propaganda and snake oil to vulnerable souls. Run like hell if you ever realize the devil is more than a silly joke.

No, the devil or lucifer was a created angel, who was the most beautiful of all the angels, but he got too proud and tried to take over God and failed. So i would think that he is still beautiful-only physically.
Isaiah 28:11-17
'This is what the Sovereign LORD says:
" 'You were the model of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
ruby, topaz and emerald,
chrysolite, onyx and jasper,
sapphire, [b] turquoise and beryl. [c]
Your settings and mountings [d] were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade
you were filled with violence,
and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, O guardian cherub,
from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud
on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
I made a spectacle of you before kings.
Andrew A: Cherubs and Cherubims are a type of angel concerned with the worship/praise of God in contrast to Michael and Gabriel who are messengers.

I've never seen him with either. Usually he's just wearing a suit, hanging around the President, and shooting old guys in the face on hunting trips.
