Look at the brutality of the animal kingdom. It appears that humans have invented this idea called "sin".

All interactions between people are only in your mind. You can only prove one's self

Matt. 26:52: “Jesus said to him: ‘Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword.’

Luke 6:27, 28: “I [Jesus Christ] say to you who are listening, Continue to love your enemies, to do good to those hating you, to bless those cursing you, to pray for those who are insulting you.”

2 Cor. 10:3, 4: “Though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage warfare according to what we are in the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things.”

Isa. 2:2-4: “It must occur in the final part of the days that the mountain of the house of God will become firmly established above the top of the mountains . . . And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.”

IT'S A OLD GOSPEL HYMN IT GOES LIKE THIS
I DON'T KNOW WHAT GOD IS TO YOU
I HOPE HE IS TO YOU
WHAT HE IS TO ME
HE'S ALL I HAVE TO OFFER, HE'S MY BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR.

My earlier question on prohibition brought the following response:

"Christians did NOT enact Prohibition -- it was people who said they were Christians but weren't."

Now, I grew up a Methodist minister's son, and my dad was particularly proud of the fact that the Methodists played a major role in enacting prohibition. (Funny thing to be proud of, I know.)

Here's my question: How can anyone tell if someone else's faith is false? How does one Christian know someone is not a real Christian (or Muslim, etc.)?

would you do that? get away from the day to day boring life away from electronic devices live of the land the gods gave you?

I'm atheist. If I saw someone wearing a cross at work it wouldn't bother me one bit. I would respect their right in a "free" society. I am getting an indication that some work places don't allow it.

I just need to get out more.

I just find it strange that atheist would bother with this category of question's and answer's if there non-believers. In order to be an atheist don't you first have to believe that something exists in order to disbelieve or attempt to disprove?

And by the same line of reasoning, isn't atheism, the LACK of belief in God, a belief?

Lemme know what you think.

That Adam and Eve disobeyed Him? Or that they attempted to pass the blame and not accept their own actions?

Now you can murder, say you're sorry and still go to heaven. What a deal!

How do you help someone with FlashBacks?
I have afriend who cannot stop talking about her tragic childhood.
She has a great business, and has done some amazing things for herself and as a young person in business ( shes only 27!),

but everytime she slows down, its like, boom, she goes into this "my parents left me, I can't trust anybody, Why did it happen, why do these things happen" kinda deal.

It doesn't help matters that she also recently went through some really tough things with an unfaithful husband.

Shes a cool person otherwise, really devoted to her Faith, and like I said, when it comes to her business, shes on Fire.

But behind closed doors, she can be a wreck.

How can I help her?
