Rom 6:1 What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 Let it not be! We who died to sin, how shall we still live in it?
Rom 6:3 Or are you ignorant that all who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been joined together in the likeness of His death, so also shall we be in the resurrection,
Rom 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be nullified, so that we no longer serve sin.

You are wrong because you do not understand the Scriptures. Only the sin of unbelief condemns anyone. If I sin as a believer, that sin is forgiven by the work on the cross. I ask for forgiveness to re-establish fellowship with God, the work of forgiveness has already been done. If as your premise states, A believer commits a heinous crime, then first, one questions his beliefs, was he truly saved in the first place? While we do sin as believers, I tend to think heinous crimes or sins would indicate that person was not of the faith. When we do sin, God allows the consequences of those sins to be fulfilled. We will suffer punishment on this earth for those sins, and suffer loss in Heaven.

What is the question? It seems that your more wanting to make some sort of uninformed point rather than asking a serious question. As for what Jesus died for, He died for the fall of mankind. That means what we have done was nailed to the cross on the sinless Lamb of God. However that does not mean we can do whatever the "hell" we want. Because of God's mercy we are born again, and in this state of having this new nature, the "born again nature" we do NOT want to sin. Doesn't mean we are sinless, but we are intune with the Holy Spirit of God.

Although I am not a Christian, I have studied many religions and mythologies (I am a comparative mythologist).

Your argument is not logical and demeans other Atheists (myself included), many of which can at least make a level-headed case against religious ideals. You have completely misunderstood the meaning behind the New Testament and cherry-picked through the story of Yeshua. He did not "die for your dirt," but rather in spite of it. The phrase "Jesus died for our sins" refers to a belief that Yeshua chose to die so that those that believe in Him (and His eventual resurrection) so that humanity may be "saved." It is not a call to commit the list of vile deeds you mentioned in your query.

Please, for the sake of Atheism, do your homework before spilling out such drivel. It is one thing to be an Atheist, but quite another to be an ignorant Atheist. Atheists should not consider themselves above researching what they do not believe in, particularly if they are speaking out against it so vehemently.

He died for our soul. He does not give us a ticket to sin. We just can't go out and do evil, and expect God to forgive us unless we are truly sorry for our sins. He knows our hearts. If we do sin, He will forgive us, but we will still have to take the consequences of our sin. He is a just God, and He loves us all so very much. I am sorry you don't believe. I wish you would read His word and know that He loves us all so very much. That is why He sent Jesus to die on the cross for all our sins. We must repent, and turn from our sins. Not mock God, and do things that we want to do. Hell is a horrible place to be for all eternity.

Yes, Jesus did die for our sins. Ask and you shall receive, But your sins will be shown at the time of judgement. This is not a license to do what ever you want to do and at the last minute say gee im sorry.

Obviously, you do not know the meaning of repentance.

You can murder, rape, steal, lie, cheat etc. and you have no God to stop you. What a great belief.

Jesus is Love.
You must first understand Love before anything else.
For me, he was whipped.
When I joined myself to him, before I fell, I also took on whatever punishment that came my way and offered it to God as reparation for sinners. To follow in Christ's footsteps is to take on whatever burdens I can bear to help my fellow man along the Spiritual path. This is my daily most ardent wish: to be strong enough to take on what life gives me. I very often do not pass, but nevertheless, the words fall from my lips as the wind that blows from the east, bringing the rain for thirsty souls.

Romans 6:1-4 (NIV)
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

If I as a Christian truly loved God, why would I want to purposely sorrow Him with my sin? God bless!

Yes He died for our sins but that does not give us license to go out and sin. The point of being a Christian is to be more Christ-like, and Jesus would certainly not go out and do those things.
