Just give one general info please. No ramblings about God not being real.

Rape is one of the most heinous crimes imaginable. Yet few people know that the Bible often condones and even approves of rape. How anyone can get their moral guidance from a book that allows rape escapes me. Perhaps they have been lied to about the Bible and carefully detoured around all the nasty stuff in the Bible.

So grab your Bibles and follow along as I show you all the nasty rapes that your priests and preachers don't want to tell you about. Note that in many places in the Bible there are references to "taking a wife". Don't be fooled into thinking that these were voluntary marriages. This first quote clearly shows that murder and force were used to "take" these wives.

Using the logic of this answer ( "No they do not because Christ Gave us a new law and that null and voids the OT". )
from John B, in regards to my question here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvA8Hp5jxfPfEveqJj9j.B3zy6IX?qid=20061019130630AAi1qOt

If the OT is "Null and Void" then why use it at all? Why does the Bible always come with the OT and NT together? This means that nothing in the OT can be used, followed, or otherwise "thrown out there" by Christians, to prove a point. Dosent it?
Jesus saved us from ourselves, right? Once the Messiah came the OT was basically a dead book. So why keep using it? Why not throw it out?

There is an awesome song we have sung over the years which pleads the question,
"Where can I go? Oh where can I go?
Where can I go but to the Lord?"
These words strike the soul. They hammer their way into the heart, pounding relentlessly as if they were screaming for attention.
"Where can I go but to the Lord?"

Isn't good to know that you have the Lord of the Universe to go too?

To what length must a simple man go to make a complex but grand point. Such a point would be preaching to the choir, who sings RAmen.

, the Pharisees spent their time trying to trip Him up with all the different laws and rules. Which type of religious person are you? Honestly now, and which type of religious person is your pastor, priest, whatever? Ask yourself that question and answer as honestly as you can. I'm not suggesting that you all turn into a bunch of winos, or that Jesus was one, but the way things are written out in the GOOD NEWS suggests that Jesus was a 'man' of the people, regular people.
Isn't this in direct conflict with some of the worldviews taught by preachers in these dark days of perpetual war and diminishing freedoms.
Some of you 'SO CALLED' christians even seem to be gloating that "You'll find out, bad boy, when you wake up in HELL... hahahaha!" Ask yourself, was this Jesus' attitude? (you know who you are)
To me, the Four books seem to be saying that we just live, you know, don't make a business out of religion, don't support war, the spirit of the law.. not the letter of the law, etc.

when a Christian has the "Spirit of Discernment" does that mean he/she is infallible?

Couldn't the sky be a rainbow?

Couldn't the sky be raining or snowing,

what is your perception?

Why does the question what colour is the sky only require one answer?

What fool would look at such a question and respond blue, I have no use for such people. Do you?

Are there any scientist that believe it's possible for the Bible and science to go together and complement each other?Or do ya'll believe that they strictly two seperate practices with nothing in common?

QURAN 2:6-7 “.. Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur).” http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/002.qmt.html

What kind of stupidity is this!! You gotta be kidding me...so unless someone is born to Islam or immediately accepts it...thats it, Allah seals up their heart and conceals himself to them.

I guess the stories of people reverting to Islam, who once rejected it must be false cause Allah already sealed up their heart and veiled their eyes, so they couldnt find him!

Does this yahoo answers user claim to know science?

Is it possible this user knows science, and asks a scientific question, looking for a poetic non-science answer?

For example, if this user asked what colour is the sky, is it possible the user isn't looking for a scientific answer at all?

I have seen a lot of questions to Christians on here about God killing people in the OT. He wiped out entire cities, every firstborn in Egypt, Hell he wiped out all life on the planet, except for Noah, his family, and a bunch of animals.
When people ask these questions, the typical Christian answer is: "That was the OT. Those are the old laws and they no longer apply since Jesus came back and saved us from ourselves"
Is this true? Do the laws in the OT no longer apply? Is that why we cant stone hookers? Is that why God has stopped killing people over the past 2000 years? Seriously, I want to know.
