Your question assumes that all priests are pedophiles, and that's ridiculous. 94% of the clergy are not pedophiles, and I would have no problem trusting them with my kids.

Certainly not. But, since there are virtually no Catholic priests who have committed such crimes, I would trust my children with most priests. Of course there have been a number of priests (fewer than 1%) who have made homosexual advances toward adolescent boys. The press likes to call this "pedophilia" in order to generate an emotional response, and to avoid casting homosexuals in a negative light, since support of homosexuality is one of the pet agendas of the public media.

since catholic priets who have been charged with pedophilia - less then .95% of the clergy are no longer in parishes and service where there are children able to be left in their care - this is not an option. if there is another out there - the asnwer would be - i would not trust my child with any pedophile and that would include any denomination, teacher, police officer, etc.

If I were old enough --the answer to the question is absolutely not ---under no circumstances, why would a parent put their child in harm's way.

No one should trust their child with a pedofile - regardless of his profession! If the person is a known perp he should be reported so he's not a threat to anyone's child. God bless. ~Nise~
