On the drive home I was thinking about religion and spiritual growth...Then I was thinking about the personal truth concept and knowledge/experience making it bigger...Then something hit me...
Like an epiphany....If there isn't one 100% true religion everyone could follow, then the personal truth concept is alot bigger deal than I first expected or percieved in my truth. It was like I could say ah-ha to myself. I keep hearing people sending the message that you can do anything, or dreams do come true...You know....It made me have this feeling of great Amazement towards the individual person, including myself and how important are learning, doing, dreaming. It makes me feel like the universe gets bigger with each new breathe I take. It feels like the more I can focus in on an object/idea, my world actually is larger and smarter.
Is this crazy? Can my world be larger than someone else's? And how important are we really, I know there is alot bigger picture to this, and I'll find it.

I beleive in God, but I find it hard to understand how murders in prison and even ones not in prison can just be saved, and that's that... their going to heaven? I mean... Isn't that saying that you can do whatever you want, and then be saved and change your ways, and it will all be ok? What about all the people that are trying to lead a good life? I think it's great that people get saved... but this is just an aspest of christianity that has always confused me i guess.

I want to see my family again. Why are we wasting time on earth, when we can see our loved ones again. Don't you want to see your mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandma and grandpa again. What are you waiting for. Lets go on to the afterlife right now.

Please pick one of the following interpretations ("A" or "B") as most important. If you want to contribute to the discussion (& aim for the 10 points), also say why.

A. The Genesis story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is literally true. The story tells how the earth was formed, how life began, and how evil entered into creation. The narrative is only helpful to human beings if we interpret the biblical creation story as the history of interactions between God and humans in the past.

B. The Genesis story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is a metaphor. It teaches that each of us has been given a paradise that we spoiled when we gave into temptation. The narrative is only helpful if we can identify with Adam and Eve in our present lives, and their historic existence is ultimately immaterial.

In Genesis 5 we have the generations of Adam all the way to Noah and his sons. Cain is not mentioned as a child of Adam. Abel is not mention either because he did not have any children.

Every time you point out an error/contradictions/mistraslation/something that doesn't jibe, bibleolators fall back on the literal-figurative argument and they can prove just about anything.

Miracles are something considered to be of divine origin. Therefore, can miracles be of a negative impact. If so, why, if not, why not.

And also, if they can't be bad, why is there "Acts of God" In insurance.

I have read many comments from some atheist and other non-believers and they continually say that All Christains are trying to destroy the world and they hate Christians. What bunch of crap. How can you place all Christians in the same place, when it is obvious that all that say they are Christian aren't Talk about being narrow minded and judgemental)...p.s. keep in mind i did say some not all atheist and non-christians.

Once day I was talking to this guy about music and how I like alot of 60-70's stuff. He asked me where got this music (I'm only 25) and I was about to tell him I find it and research it but that's not what came out of my mouth...It was strange..I told him "It finds me" and he smiled and nodded. I don't know where it came from.

Then I was thinking, intent seems powerful and I thought about the creators of these deep songs...Their intention was for the song to find people.
I guess it doens't make a great question but does this make sense? I've been thinking about it for the last week or so, any help/comments?
