I don't believe in God, because of that veyry reason. There isn't any proof. And until somebody comes up with some I don't think it's very smart to do so. It's kind of like believing in Santa Claus at 30.

excellent question.
Why do we believe in anything?
Everyone believes in something so why do we honestly believe? It would be impossible to explain 100% proof of any of our beliefs because everyone perceives EVERYTHING differently, from slightly to drastically.
So the same question could be said why NOT believe in God if there has not been solid proof of Gods existence beyond the shadow of a doubt?
The simple answer is all belief is, and Faith for that matter, is ONLY an opinion. And this is not limited to just religion, it goes with EVERYTHING anyone believes.
That's something all of us can and should ponder, believers in God or Non-believers. Search for answers is the only way in which any of us grow.
I just happen to believe God exists. But does that make me right and someone else wrong? No
And that happens to be my opinion, as yours may differ.

Historians have proved that there was an Adam and Eve. When you were little did you believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny, or Tooth Fairy? You probably did. Why is it so hard to believe in something you can't see? Have you never experienced a miracle whether it be first hand or through a loved one? Sometimes you just have to have faith. Faith is Blind so you just have to go with it.

In most cases we attach ourselves to God in order to take revenge on life, to punish it, to signify we can do without it, that we have found something better, and we also attach ourselves to God in horror of men.
We understand God by everything in ourselves that is fragmentary, incomplete, and inopportune.
As for the second part of the question-regarding dinosaurs and man evolving from monkeys-these are scientific facts-relatively easy to demonstrate.
Here's a link to "The Evolution of Man":

Here's a link where you can read about dinosaurs:

"proof" is a funny thing. prove to me that YOU are real. even if we're in the same room, and i can see you, touch you, hear you, i dont need to believe you're there. we know that the human brain can make us think things that are not true, see things that arent there, etc.
thats the thing about believing in anything, some ppl believe in a concept even if they cant touch it or feel it, others only believe what they can see and feel, and if we met "God" and he did things to prove he's god, there would still be those who would choose not to believe. conversely, there are those that will never see any proof of God's existence and they'll believe in the concept forever.
so, why believe in anything? if i decide that my mind created you to keep me amused or entertained, then i dont need to believe you're real. at the end of the day, you cant prove or disprove anything to anyone if they're in a certain frame of mind.

Do you believe in air or the wind? What proof do you have, solid proof now, that they exist? So why do you believe in them? Do you believe in electricity? What solid proof do you have it exists? Can you see it, touch it, smell it? So what proof is there that electricity, air, wind or a myriad of other things really exist if you cannot prove it with solid proof as you say? May not be albe to prove it to some but they exist just as God, the creator of them exists.

If you have solid proof of something, then there is no need to believe because you already know. We can only believe in things that there is no solid proof for.

Why believe in Evolution if the experts are constantly changing their minds? As for God, if you need solid proof you don't have faith. for me, the only proof I need that God exists is a collection of 66 books in one anthology.
