Sometimes I feel a connection to the creator. I get messages from this connection. The creator told me how to gain all his abilities. I was shocked, for the answer was so simple. To be like the creator is being creative. To create. To add new knowledge and experience new things to have a greater link to this creative being. His image.

Pascal's wager sounds deceptively simple. Many a religious person finds such a call attractive: one only needs to believe without considering the evidence and one would immediately be in a better position than that of the non-believer. After all, they say, if I believe and then it turns out to be true I get to enjoy heavenly bliss; but if my belief turns out to be false, and there is no God, then when I die, I lose nothing. An atheist, the religious person may continue, if he turns out to be wrong will suffer an eternity of torment. If the atheist turns out to be right then it is only equal to the believer's "worst case." Obviously then, the believer will say, you must wager on the side of belief.

But Pascal's argument is seriously flawed. The religious environment that Pascal lived in was simple. Belief and disbelief only boiled down to two choices: Roman Catholicism and atheism. With a finite choice, his argument would be sound. But on Pascal's own premise that God is infinitely i

I can understand saying the Bible is the inspired Word of God, but to pin point one specific version to be the ONLY good one makes no sense since it is not the oldest text. It isn't even the first English version, it was copied off the Geneova Bible which was already in English but the KJV was the first to be mass produced and sepperated by chapter and verse.

Also, King James himself was a pretty nasty guy, this IS why people left England to come to America for religion freedom. He wanted everyone in the Church of England and imprissoned preachers for 2 years for not reading from the Apocrypha (and I know KJV only people dont read the Apocrypha) King James wasnt the one translating, I know, He authorised it, which is good but these men didnt have the texts available which we do today so there are quite a few things in the KJV that didn't appear in texts earlier than it, which are much more reliable. So really, why KJV only?

It's a song (there's an anime music video attatched to it, but if you don't like anime, then minimize it and sdon't watch, just listen) and the "he" in the song is supposed to be "He" as in the almighty, BUT I think about it as saying that "he" like your boyfriend or something... I mean, I thought they were talking about their love or something, I didn't even know it meant God until I read the lyrics and found out that they're sorta Christian Rock. Hehe, same with another one of their songs "Never Alone" I thought they were talking about their boyfriends or something!

But would you think I was trying to spread Christianity? 'casuse my friend asked me "Wouldn't people think" that, and I'm asking you peoples... : ) So just asking opinions, please no attitudey-isms!

She was dressed very modestly and had a hijab on but her face was so incredibly beautiful that I had to stare because sometimes the hijab looks very flattering on a beautiful face.

now, I don't swing that way, I just appreciate beauty since I am an artist.
But since a sexual male might see her face, beautiful as it is, won't that entice him to feel sinful and sexual towards her, despite wearing her modest clothing and hijab or head scarf?

So then should all women cover their entire face like some Islamic laws uphold, or should only the really attractive ones cover their face?

I bought and paid for my item about a month ago. After a couple of weeks of not receiving it, I filed a claim! I have a right to make an attempt to either retreive my item or money! Finally, I get the item yesterday but I didn't open it until this morning (a month, after my purchase)! I went online to delete my claims this morning and found two offensive replies by the seller on pay pal calling the entire thing "bullshit" and saying she was going to contact the DA for my "fradulent claim". Then I e-mail her letting her know, it's NOT bullshit, what's bullshit is her awful reaction! This is what I got back.

Bullshit? You filed a fraudulent complaint with a credit card company (paypal)...wouldn’t be funny if your kid just flopped over and had a stroke think for a second before you get yourself arrested) Go **** YOURSELF STRECH MARK LADDEN LATINO B**CH, have you no heart? When your child or sibling dies young you may re-think your word words are power lady. Ever read the bible?

The universe is about 15 to 20 billion years old.
Our solar system is about 4.5 billion years old.
Humans have been around for less than 1 million years.
Therefore all human Religions, Gods, Bibles have been around for less than 1 million years.

Since the universe consists of billions of billions of stars, there will be billions of stars capable of supporting life on other planets orbiting them.

The universe has been around for more than 99.99% of the total time and humans for less than 0.01% of the time. On a universal scale, humans have only been around for a blink of an eye. Most other life in the universe has been around much longer. Science would suggest the probability of intelligent life existing on another planet elsewhere in our universe is over 99%.

Religion suggests that God created the universe and wrote the Bible for humans. So, for the other intelligent life in our universe which has been around far longer than humans, what do you think God wrote for them?

Isn't doing things like praying to saints and burying statues of saints and wearing medals of saints against Christian teachings? Is it not idolatry? Does believing a buried statue in your yard will help you sell your home mean you don't trust God in all matters and believe you need a little "extra" help?

This is not a soapbox. I am Protestant and I really want to know the answers. I am not trying to be offensive. If you have a good answer, please share it!
