God told Solomon that whatever he asked for he would give it to him. Solomon choose wisdom. My question to you is if you were in his shoes what would you have asked God for?

First for wisdom, then if I could keep Solomon's shoes and sell them, online? That way, I'd still have enough to build the house I want. LOL Just kidding.
Seriously, I would have asked to stay in His (God's) Presence forever. Know what I mean? It's what I want most.
But given that we only have two choices, I would have to take wisdom. Money without wisdom, would be gone like the prodical son. Wisdom without money, can still make some.
(P.S. Anyone who can read or listen, can get knowledge, and protect their health. Knowledge without wisdom can be a weapon, but wisdom is knowing what to do with that knowledge.)

Wow, this is really a good question. I remember when I first read this story years ago, and I just thought it was the neatest thing I had read. Wow, asking for wisdom. I don't think I would have been this smart, but who knows? Maybe if I would have known God like Solomon did, I would have asked the same. Nah! lol

Asking such demonstrates need...of which I have not. By the way, God did not give Solomon anything he did not already have....easy prayer answered.

I would probably have asked for the samething. Things were alot more simple back then I think anyway. I would have either asked for wisdom or strength in knowledge.

He did that to me too-and i told him -to be able to know his perfect will-if u would like e me or 360 me and i will share how he showed me but just promise u wont tell anyone-unless u ask him first then if its his perfect will to tell them-some want to use it for selishness and not the Lord and it ends up hurtin them-be carefull what we ask the lord for-princess-we might get it.
