Someones who ends up going to a prestige university and earns their Ph.D and becomes an engineer, doctor, or whatever.

A person who only finished high school but becomes a well known inventor.

A man with little to no education who has his child dying of a disease with no cure but the love of his child inspires him to dedicate all his spare time to finding the cure, and he does.

I'm 18 & I've gotten whipped a few times, afterwards it was like, ok, and? lol...I don't think theres anything wrong with whipping your child for discipline, BUT I only believe in whipping on the butt & no where else.

I had been going to bible study's but my friend wants me to do it at my house. I don't see anything wrong with it as we just read the bible but I don't know???? Could I get into trouble with the church? Thanks.

In your way of thinking, does the world need some socialism to keep order?
In the past when a gap between the rich and poor becomes too great the poor often rise up ending in a great deal of bloodshed on both sides. Does the world need a certain amount of socialism to prevent this from happening?

Look I got this deaf guy who used to work for me and I saw him at a bar. So he said he wanted to chill so I said alright but I didn't know he was gay. He came over my house and was making some sex motion with his hand.(Please resist the urge to find this funny) I told him I wasn't gay and he looked upset and it made me very uncomfortable I wanted to hit him at a certain point because I thought he kept flirting with me. He kept trying to feel my muscles and rub my hair. But he seemed like he was getting into it. Not like your friend rubbing your head saying what's up. I don't know if he was or wasn't but I didn't like the whole situation. He said he wanted me to go to the movies with him next week as friends and tell you the truth I don't want to I don't even want to hang out with him agin or talk to him for that matter. Am I being prejudice? You see he's deaf and can't talk so I didn't even know he was gay. I'm afraid of bad karma but how are you supposed to handle something like this

Middle schools are handing out condoms,(showing them how to put them on using a banana) high schools are giving our kids the "day after" pill without parents knowledge or consent. Then I see this article on Yahoo...

My manager never calls me by my name and only calls me "babydoll".

I have been too afraid to speak up and tell him not to call me that for fear of losing the only job I have (although no one has threatened me). He also chides me like I am a child and once when I called to tell him I had overslept due to a powerfailure in my apartment; he informed me that I couldn't work at all because I "can't oversleep".

Also once when I was late (due to a serious private matter)he chides me like a little child infront of a group of 4 managers and asks me why I was late infront of all of them. I tell him that I would like to speak to him in private and that it was of a personal matter but he tells me that "nothin is private, say it out loud babydoll, you can't be late and just walk in"

But as a 27 year old woman I find it completely insulting, rude and uncomfortable to be treated this way and called "babydoll"

a friend and i were playing 5card stud with the cards shuffled by an electric device. afte the 8th hand he said, i cant understand why i get such bad hands. the cards are delt at radom and randomness know know pattern or concept of good or bad hands, so it should be just as easily to be randomly delt a good hand as a bad one. Is he right?

With the 24 hour 7 day barrage of celebrity BS that we gt shoved down our throats why do we care? Why do we care that Brittany did something....or that Paris Hilton did something? We must make God's Word alive and real, not just "look" at ti and read it but we must live it. I am bad at judging others, so I share with you, and I think as human race we are constantly judging others, so just remember, every time you judge another, God is judging you the same !! You don't know why the shooters at the schools shoot, I was an elem teacher and when you know some of the horrid things that happen to little kids and then they grow up so so angry and shoot others, what is wrong with our world today, not what is wrong with these kids, what is wrong with our world ?? And how well are most of the world really parenting, go into a large retail store, sit down and watch the entire public and see how their children behave and how they treat their kids . If you take you child to the park for quality time, are you talking on your cell phone while you are pushing your child on the swing ? Is that what you want when you want attention is someone talking on the phone instead
