With the 24 hour 7 day barrage of celebrity BS that we gt shoved down our throats why do we care? Why do we care that Brittany did something....or that Paris Hilton did something? Why do we give them the satisfaction of caring about BS......pure BS! The world is going down the crapper and all we hear about is how Lindsey Lohan is a coked up whore. Am I crazy for thinking this? Does anybody agree....disagree?>?

Luckily not all of us DO care! I have too much good in my life to waste my time and energy on these spoiled brats. They are attention seekers and badly in need of growing up. They are very harmful to young kids who look up to them as role models. This is where good parenting will lead their children to real role models, people who are giving to society things that will build our nation up, not tear it down. Unfortunately all the TV programs care about is ratings so they go on and on and on, showing these young fools in all their stupidity. Luckily though, my TVs both have an "OFF" button!

I agree with you completely.

Boobus Americanus is more interested in the actions of the morally lacking bimbos and bimbettes than they are about the realities of our world.

Personally, I blame the media. There are very few, if any, investigative reporters left anymore. The major media reads what comes of the machine and if nothing comes of except the Hollywood brats, that's what we get.

There are a few exceptions but not many.

I believe this fascination is due to the dumbing down of American and our uneducated or undereducated young people who can barely read or express themselves. It's easier to watch a piece on that Spears girl than watch a piece on global warming, illegal war in Iraq or corrupt politician.

We have raised and are raising generations of unskilled, uneducated boobs. No wonder companies have to look outside our borders for qualified people to fill certain jobs. Our young people are incapable.

It's the same morbid fascination that you have when looking at a train wreck or drunk driving accident. You're incredulous, you're dissapointed, you're angry (because you know you shouldn't be looking but can't seem to help yourself not mention the squandered potential), you feel better about your life because it could be much worse.

We all agree with you in theory but I bet even you could tell us all the major events that highlight Britney's fall from grace.

I think its cause we like it because there personal lives are pretty much like soap operas in real life. So we find it interesting.
