I wouldn't favor any of them until I talked to them. One shows a high amount of education, the other a very creative, problem solving mind, and the last a love inspired determination.

Thinking about it the last may be the more intellegent, as given the current state of medicine would have accomplished something that has eluded many professional medical researchers.

Edit:
Intellegence has nothing to do with your profession or what you do, it's more of a native ability, some people cultivate it and others don't. There are also those that have less but determinedly keep "plugging" to reach the answers. Just like an altheltic body, it's how you train and use it that matters.

Depends on the individual, school helps but being educated doesn't necessarily make them more intelligent. Look at Bush, he graduated from Harvard and can't give a proper definition of what a sovereign government is.

Logically, the first is more intelligent education wise. He has a higher grasp on life, and most likely has an I.Q around 10 kazillion or w.e

The second is the most intelligent based on creativity. Based on the desciption you've given he's someone who can analyze, create, and use his imagination to create things

The third is the most intelligent based on values. He understands what love is worth, and what a life is worth.

It depends on what you say intelligence is.

I do not judge intelligence by academics but by a broad field of knowledge and so I would wonder about all of them.
