There are people of every age who are arrogant. It makes me unhappy to be around them.

Arrogance is not age-related. I find the most arrogant people to be the new generation just entering the work-force now; you know, the ones who've had everything handed to them their whole (short) lives and expect, EXPECT, the real world to be the same. They expect the same wage and perks to be handed to them upon arrival that I've earned the past 31 years because they're "smarter" than I am. Ignorant kids! I find it more and more satisfying teaching them a little humility and respect for those who have come before them.
