If God whatever you believe him or her to be sends some souls to earth just for a short while to teach us the value of life. Like young children who die of cancer, they always have such an old look in their eyes ( like an old soul staring out from the body of a child) and is it not up to us to learn from those struggles and become better people ourselves? These children in their own ways teach compassion, courage and strength of spirit that some will never know and If we do not learn from them is their blood not on our hands as if we had killed them if we do not learn?

Nowadays, people are getting more apathetic, mean, backsatabber, criticizer (especially those teens and grown -up adults). What i observe is that people tend to do these to another people when they would feel that a certain person is not in and eccentric to their standards.Like when they will so something people that are odd and they will tend to criticize this person badly without considering his/her own feelings.I'm now in 1st yr. high school and how can't i become the victim and the doer of these behavior when I go to College...The truth is I can't stand these anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Where are those morals, ethics, principles of God???

Back in high school I used to sit next to this Armenian guy. For some reason I was always drawn towards him. He was adorable, not physically but in a pathetic sense. No one really spoke to him much or truly liked him. The only reason why he belonged to a group was simply because he was Armenian. My school was quite ethnically segregated (solely between Hispanics and Armenians), by their own accord. The Armenians were an extremely close-knit group. I can't apply the same closeness to Hispanics, they would tend to mix in with blacks, Filipinos, and others. Things were more open with them. Anyway, the Armenian I liked really stuck out badly in his group. He wasn't cool enough. He just didn't have the goods like the; leather jacket, ghetto chains, designer shoes, slick oily hair, a girlfriend...etc. I used to stand in the distance and watch his "friend's" reactions. It was sad. In English class, each day for me was a pleasure to see him. I loved how his eyebrows would naturally droop down, like a permanent expression of sadness. I loved his clumsiness (his pencil would fall all the time). I loved his bad posture. I loved the fact that he tried hard in class even though he wasn't so bright. And I'd love how he would always sigh. My best friend dubbed him "the sigh guy." (laughs) One day I decided to give him a friendly letter...kind of hinting a "I have a crush on you" thing. The next day in class he returned it. Eversince then he acted weird around me.
Now that high school is over, I sometimes wonder why didn't he say or do anything. Did I freak him out?
Was it because I'm not Armenian? (Persian all the way)

First of I AM NOT ANOREXIC! I just think it defies logic that there are scores of feeder sites yet everyone complains about the Ana sites. This fallacy is obvious when one refers to the following evidence:

The U.S. Surgeon General report declared that obesity is responsible for over 300,000 deaths every year. The most widely disseminated CDC research statistics on American obesity tell us that 63% of adults have a BMI in excess of 25.0 and are therefore overweight; more than a 1/4 surpass 30.0, having been declared obese. 3.8 million Americans carry over 300 lbs and 400,000 Americans fall into a 400+ lb category

In comparison US estimates from The National Institute of Mental Health show approx 5% of women and 1% of men have anorexia, bulimia, or binge ED's. It's hard to find a hard statistic on Ana death rates but most studies show only 5% of ED's result in death

If obesity is the larger problem why has the reaction been backwards?

I'm not superstitous or anything, but for the past few months, I notice the time 10:24 at least once a day. Is there any reason why I would notice those particular numbers and not any others that I see throughout the day? I actually will see it and make a note of it. Any other time of the day, I will usually disregard it and end up looking a second time at the clock.

Any ideas?

I'm doing well, yet have gone through many changes in past year . . . Moved from house to nice townhouse / condo, celebrated my 50th birthday, have teen kids and began working again after being at home mom for 20 yrs., shared custody with my kids shifted with my former husband. Lots of changes...and, while uncomfortable at times, am growing forward through all well.

A dear friend of mine made the statement " The only thing constant is change ". She is a positive minded friend, vibrant woman of a dear heart . . . Yet, that phrase sounds a bit ' negative ' to me.

Is the phrase noted above positive or more negative. What is the positive and / or negative aspects to it ?

I realize that change does occur in life. . . That's how people move forward and grow. Yet, some things are fine as they are and you don't wish for that change to occur . . . Family, love, things in life working well . . .

Would appreciate insight.

How can you grab a person's attention in a fun, lively, but, not disgusting way? What do you think makes for a really interesting person...somebody who is well-noticed but, in a much more positive way? What have you done, that got your noticed in a positive way,and how did it make you feel? What would you do next time, for a better "eye opening" experience to get others to notice you? If you have never done this before...what would be your ideas to get people to notice you...? Type some of your unique ideas out here!

Okay maybe I have too much time on my hands.
Also I am college educated so you can respond to this question in an educated manner even though it may sound silly.

Okay many people believe in dinosaurs. And scientists are still finding new dinosaurs bones etc.. Also they have found bones before that added a wing to a dinosaur they previousally thought was land bound. Thinking about all this..

What is a dinosaur with wings? Couldn't this be a dragon?

Told you it was a weird question..
But i'm still curious so please answer.

Oh and by the way, I just caught a 14 year old girl stealing an earring and guess where she put the earring? IN HER MOUTH!
My owner said shoplifters are getting weirder these days and people wonder why we watch them?

Seriously, if we don't watch customers, then it's us or the owner that are losing money and if the owner's not making money, the more risk of us losing our jobs. So we watch people because we want to catch the shoplifters like the girl above. We don't trust customers at all because it's usually the innocent ones that are the worst. We don't trust customers because they're strangers, just as much as you don't trust strangers.
And people like the girl shoplifter makes us realize more that we need to watch customers. They give other customers a bad name. Adults steal as much as the young ones too.

So my question is, why do they need to steal???
