because the "BEAT" does work something in the human EAR. and it gives some amount of strength to the spirit. but it also destroys the ear and the hearing ability.
ITs more of a dilusional High, and when a youth is young they have strength to fight against everything and anything. As a former owner of an air guitar, it was a passion to Dance and JUMP and mimick the POWER that surges through the mind and in the blood.
but it passes, at least it did for me.

The day I saw an Angel appear in my room I had come home depressed and turned on my rock an roll, but the sounds did not soothe nor did they uplift me. In disgust I turned them off and moved to my be and layed down. When the angel appeared a second later, i thought for several years, that if i had not turned off the music the angel would not have appeared.
it is written God does not save the rebellious. it is also very well known that teenagers dont have to rebell if they know and beleive there is a God.

Rock stars are generally angry young men. A stereotypical cliche is that their parents probably didn't support them or their choices and never thought they would succeed. I bet that's true more often than not.
