my parents are old! 39 and 38.
I find it funny, that they a are amused by little simple things like the ipod.... I was going to upgrade their computer for them, from windows xp to the new vista. But i dont want to overwhelm them!!
They have a difficult time as it is with the old xp.....
What keeps your old minds amused, other than computers?
I mean like if you old folks find all this computer technology amusing, can you imagine how it will be in ten years from now!!
My parents will be ancient.....I know you older people have a hard time keeping up with youth tecnology! i guess my question is?
Do you think kids like me are becomingng more intelligent then our older pairs????

its obviously brainwash,why else would our gvrmnt MAKE 5yr old kids memorize it.

when i was in elem sch('85) i used to just move my mouth when kids were pledging,teacher caught me and MADE me say it in front of the class by myself.

now i got a little dude of my own and next year when he starts school i will tell him not to pledge as long as they keep the 'one natoin under GOD' in it.

dont mistake this for a lack of support for our country.

this is a just lack of support for organized religion within our public schools

No matter what a person believes in a religious sense, can people from all walks agree that words have the power to heal and the power to kill?
When children are raised being told negative or positive things about them, don't you think that it affects their self-esteem?

this country, america, was founded on principles of freedom. if this countrys is so free, then whay so many restrictions? whay cant we do what we want and live the way we choose, instead of having to follow the principles of others we elect?

Couples who decide to have multiple children place a bigger burden on our schools and wear on our roads ect ect..... Why don't single people get the tax break......... Is this tax system set up for More people = Economic growth!

has so many people been liveing under a rock or is it not obvoius there are so many religions out there? when it comes to abortion questions people just become preachers for there religion an dont come up with facts that are solid. cant they come up with ideas of there own that are earthly an factual? all they say is god this an god that. how about fact this an fact that? (btw i believe an am saved by god but people need to be more open minded then that)

I'm only 30 and I'm getting pretty noticeably gray around the temples. I realize this isn't a disaster or anything, but I'm just curious ... is it more dignified to have a little gray and accept it, or to artificially color it and have the hair color "match" your age a little better?

Opinions welcome. You can even give me hell about being old, I don't care.

Hiya people of the world! My mum is renting a house and we have to be out by the 1st of may. We found a house, but that one got taken by a family that desprately needed a home. We were really upset. Now we have found another house but the rent is a little more than mum can pay. If you prey for us then I think he will go down in price. I also need you to prey for me. Im at a really horrible state school and I want to do home education, my mum said that she would do it but now she is douting it. We live in Spain and she said that I can go to England and do home education with dad or stay in Spain and do school. I want her to warm up to the idea that I stay in Spain and do home education. If I stop school before we move then I can start afresh in the new house.
