You have not put a lot of thought into this question, is this a general question
regarding all muslims or one particular one? If it is an individual, approach
him and sort it out, or are you just working on hearsay? that the guy is
muslim your a jew and never the twain shall meet.Have you ever thought
he/they might be thinking exactly the same as you.Which on the grander
scale always keeps people away from the negotiation table.
Your Jewish = A Religion
He/They Muslim = A Religion
What makes either of you think that the other is wrong?
Unfortunately us humans have this invisible trigger inside us, that when you
hear see or told something that you supposedly dont like it's what we
westerners call Getting rubbed you up the wrong way, do you think this is
what's happening ?If so it's up to you ,get it sorted

Who says you can't?? You can be friends with whoever you like. Just make sure that they are good human beings. How they worship God should not be an issue. I am agnostic and have loads of very religous friends (muslims, jews and christians) and we all get along really well. We have loads of other things in common and when the topic of religion does come up we all respect each other's views. Unless you live in Palestine / Israel, don't other people's land conflicts affect you. Thats all it is really, is a fight over land. You're obviously open-minded and well balanced, so don't let anyone bully you into being horrible to someone based on their religion. Good Luck!

You don't have to be his enemy, religious divide has been and will continue to be the biggest source of conflict in the world. It will take the efforts of people like you, making friends with those who practise different religions, without criticsm or question, to change this. Make friends, develop understanding and tolerance, its the only way to change the world for the better.

You can offer friendship to whoever you want, regardless of their religion. You certainly DON'T have to be enemies with any Muslims.
I was reared a Catholic, and have plenty of friends from Protestant backgrounds, in fact my husband's family are Reformed Church. I just laugh and tell anyone who tries to say we're supposed to be enemies to get a life.

Perhaps it's because in your last question you stated your belief that Islam is a bad religion. I suspect this might chuck a spanner in the works somewhere along the line. Aparently they don't like that sort of thing being said about their religion.

There's absolutely NOTHING in Judaism that forbids you to become friends with a Muslim.
I'm Muslim and I have many friends who are Jewish, Christian, etc. Islam does not forbid us to become friends with people of other religions, and I'm sure that the same rule applies for Judaism.

no matter what religion anyone is, you choose who is your enemy. if you find a friend among a group of people who are supposed to be your enemy because of cultural differences, it is your decision to remain friends. it is your decision to break the circle of hatred towards people who believe differently than you.
