For the blame America first group....here is the list:

Linfen, China, where residents say they literally choke on coal dust in the evenings, exemplifies many Chinese cities;

Haina, Dominican Republic, has severe lead contamination because of lead battery recycling, a problem common throughout poorer countries [image];

Ranipet, India, where leather tanning wastes contaminate groundwater with hexavalent chromium, made famous by Erin Brockovich, resulting in water that apparently stings like an insect bite [image];

Mailuu-Suu, Kyrgyzstan, home to nearly 2 million cubic meters of radioactive mining waste that threatens the entire Ferghana valley, one of the most fertile and densely populated areas in Central Asia that also experiences high rates of seismic activity;

La Oroya, Peru, where the metal processing plant, owned by the Missouri-based Doe Run Corporation, leads to toxic emissions of lead;

Dzerzinsk, Russia, one of the country's principal chemical weapons manufacturing sites until the end of the Cold War [image];

Norilsk, Russia, which houses the world's largest heavy metals smelting complex;

Rudnaya Pristan, Russia, where lead contamination resulted in child blood lead levels eight to 20 times maximum allowable U.S. levels;

Chernobyl, Ukraine, infamous site of a nuclear meltdown 20 years ago; and

Kabwe, Zambia, where child blood levels of lead are five to 10 times the allowable EPA maximum

I have no desire to have children, yet I can see from a pragmatic viewpoint that it might be sensible to have children so there is someone to protect my interests when I am old and frail.
However from an ethical point of view I think that is a bad reason, so I won't.

But I wonder whether this is the case with many other men. Do most of them who want kids have them because they want the kids (the fun of bringing them up, playing with them etc), or are there a significant minority or even majority of them who only want them to look after them when they are old, but don't have my moral objection to this?

Following on from this, why do I, and I think many other young men these days not want to have children, when people of an earlier generation 30, 50 years ago were much more interested. Is it because there is so much more to do these days, like playing computer games etc that the appeal of children wanes into insignificance?

Yes I'm single and with no girlfriend.

n your opinion why does it appear that American Christianity has become the love child of Capitalism, individualism and greed. I have purused the ghettos of Christian television and have become appalled at the heresy.

Prosperity Preachers like Creflo Dollar, Jamal Bryant, Keneth Hagin, Oral Roberts and Fred Price and etc depict God as a grand slot machine; If you tithe to the church GOD will bless you with a Benz, Bentley, new house, car and more bling bling.

It seems that the thesis of there message is that to have those things are a sign of divine blessings and favor. DOES THIS POP-CULTURAL MESS BOTHER ANYONE BUT ME??????

Does it even bother anyone that these beautiful celebraty preachers who dress like characters on soap operas are not even smart and do not have earned accredidated degrees? Can't congregants make a case to sue them for spiritual malpractice? I think the gospel that they preach is the equavelant of spiritual homocide. (murdering the spiritually weak)

ok.so.here's the problem.there's this girl in my college who has a huge crush on me. last term she came and told me how she felt abt me,plus she asked me if i felt the same way abt her.(she was sweet,quite pretty & a really nice person).i would have yes.but i wasn't looking for a relationship then,plus the fact i was still getting over another girl.i told her that & i also told her that we could still be friends.
now this term,she doesn't even talk to me as she used to before,though i know for a fact that she doesn't have any hard feelings on me(she told me she understands everything & that she's ok with it).we don't meet much since we don't take any classes together.(just during break & while passing through the hall)in the past,she used to sometimes come upto me,but not now.by what my friends have told me(she's even made a card for my b'day though i know for a fact that she's not planning anything special with me in mind for valentine's day)
i'm confused.why's she acting like this?

I'm naturally pretty pale, but not in a pasty way - think more Nicole Kidman's color. I was just wondering if guys liked that, or if you'd rather have someone who keeps tanning themselves a bit, even through the winter. Or maybe it doesn't matter at all to you. Just curious!

In regards to the controversial K-Fed Superbowl ad with Nationwide Insurance that the media is simply over-hyping, would you feel offended if you worked in the restaurant industry after seeing this ad?

Personally, I wouldn't feel offended by the ad. The only thing I would feel offended by is K-Fed trying to represent us. Of all the available singers out there that they could have chosen, why the heck did they even choose this one?

This by far is Nationwide Insurance's worst ad campaign ever. They could have done a lot better than this considering that this ad will air on Superbowl Sunday.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???
