I was walking in the college library and this cute guy asked me for 10 or twenty bucks so he'd have enough money for Northeastern game or something. I was like "suure! ask someone else!" he said he asked the whole dorm(which I didn't believe).

He kept begging me and kept making eye contact with me. I said what would you give me back? he hesitated and I asked again. He said he'd give me his hat and I told him ok but you won't get your hat back until you pay me back and he agreed.

He's an aquaintance and gave him 20 bucks because he gave me his hat and he's cute and adorable.

Was this a stupid move to make or one of those "it's up to you"?

I feel very bad about being alive and being of no use to anyone around me. I know I can be replaced at my job in a heartbeat and any exceptional work I do in the world is for my own good. All in all, it stinks to have no real purpose.

There's constant mention of London, Big Brother, etc here. Last time I checked, this was the AMERICAN Yahoo Answers site. The UK Yahoo site must be a very BORING site if you need to come ask your Britain-related questions over here.

as they are on tv... like my favorite show... CSI .. do you think that if you were ever in trouble or being framed for something that our home town cops could prove you innocent .... I wander if our home town cops have a csi lab and the real sience and to prove you innocent in the amazing ways they do on tv....? ( silly i know but it sometimes seems like it could be real )

Explain to me why some people (mostly christians and other dogmatic religions, islam, etc.). Why are you all so hell bent on keeping your daughters virgins until they are married but do not stress this nearly as hard on your sons. My parents were the same way yet they didn't push for my brother to stay a virgin until he was married. Neither of them were virgins when they got married themselves. I find most of my co-workers are the same way pushing that doctrine on their daughter and not the sons. The sons are have sex with someone's daughter. When I told my dad this he said women are suppose to keep thier legs closed. I said "show me a man who will keep his d!ck in his pants and I will show you a woman who will keep her legs closed. He was shocked, I think because that puts some responsibility on him as a man. What do you think? Do you think that's why people stress for girls to be virgins until they are married and not guys, because that puts responsibility on the men?

It's do dumb. Wear what you like and what you look best in. Not what all the celebrities look best in because they have time to starve themselves, take drugs, and ruin the body God gave them.

Whenever fashion styles change then you are left with a whole closet of stuff that will get you frowned upon in the fashion world. What's the use?!

Explain to me what Indian people mean when they call someone "simple"? Is being "a simple man" merely a positive thing? Does it mean someone who doesn't worry or talk much? For centuaries upon centuaries people have neglected other people for their choices and even things that are not a choice. People have not learned anything in years and years and thousands of years more. We have been a species that feeds on hate and prejudices... creating pain and suffering everywhere... because of our limited understanding of other people. This is a call to all of you... all of you people who together can make a difference. Think of all the wars we have created by not understanding the other side of the situation. Think of how many more wars we will create... if we don't accept that the only way we will be without war is if we accept all people for who they are, and give everyone equal rights, and stop condeming people to death. We must understand that war is mass murder, and that murder is the only sin... the taking of anothers life will never be justified in any means... it is and always should be unforgivable... even in war! Will you join me and speak for peace? :)
