I believe the best place to retire is in the Star Valley area, just an hour south of Jackson Hole. There are a lot of golf courses, housing is still reasonable and you have the small town values. Like I said, an hour to Jackson...whitewater rafting, hiking, the Grand Tetons, great shopping and food....an hour and a half to Idaho Falls for the malls and big shopping trips, and only about 3 hours to Salt Lake City for pro and college sports. We have 4 season here too!
The cons would be....an hour and a half to the mall! LOL I really don't have any cons, cheap living, good jobs and a great lifestyle, hard to find something wrong with that!

A little patch of land, just due East of BFE. I would not want to retire there, it is a frozen wasteland
